pedro santabarbara but this guy here is Toy. Sorry, but this throwup is not good, and Grim knows his stuff better than anyone really. A throwup almost never has any Negative space, noe look at this example. Theres no flow, no logic, no sence to it. This guz is certainly not in a position to teach anyone how to do t-ups. ❤

Hey, maybe dumb question, but I have a similar set up where I'll spray paint a piece of wood like that, and use bucket paint and roller to clear the canvas. How to I clean the roller after each use? Or rather, do I even bother? What's that process like if you dont mind? (Super helpful tutorials though mate. Love to see em!)
@GraffitiTutorials

Hey man. If its water based paint yiu can just rinse it out with water and spin it out after. Or just wrap it up in a bag if you're using regularly and the same colour. I'd reccomend washing it out if you're not going to use for a while though as it may go hard. Make sure its wrapped up tight and no air can get to it if you're not going to wash it out.

Practice on paper to develop your style, try and fill up a couple of sheets a day with different throw ups in different styles. Look at other people's work and find pieces that you like and take inspiration (don't straight up copy though as this is known as "biting" and is not respected in the graff world.
Bravo nice t up

Hi sorry to bother you. I’m new to all this and loving these vids. Just wondering what black base paint you using ? Many thanks
@GraffitiTutorials
3 жыл бұрын
Hi, I just used black emulsion, which is fine to black out the background quickly if you don't really care about the paint lasting.. if you'd like to do a proper job, then use some proper exterior masonry paint. :)

TheDukeOfWales what paint are you using? If you’re using chrome you need to use a tar black outline really to stop it bleeding through
@tang.7333
6 жыл бұрын
Graffiti Tutorials just the cheap stuff from the store. I did use a chrome silver as the filler tho.. if I just use normal paint I shouldn't have to worry about it tho? thanks again, this helped alot
@GraffitiTutorials
6 жыл бұрын
TheDukeOfWales Naa you mainly get that problem with chromes and Copper chrome and gold. Must be the way they’re made up and it eats through the standard black paint. But the tar based ones cover them no problem even when they’re wet. This problem can happen with normal colours though but only when it’s really wet and there’s a lot of paint on the surface.
@tang.7333

Graffiti Tutorials thank you bro for your answers, they really helped. one last question, how should I outline my throwy to avoid that bleeding problem. or is it just waiting?
@GraffitiTutorials

TheDukeOfWales no problem, if you use decent paints by the time it’s filled in it should be fine to just go back to the first letter and start outlining straight away,

how do you see your lines to do the outline once you've filled in the colour?
@GraffitiTutorials
Жыл бұрын
It's something you get used to with experience, if you know your letters ans style well, you'll just know. When painting technical, more wildstyle pieces though, you can colour right up to the edge of the lines and leave a tiny bit so you can tell where everything goes. Then go over it wall with your actual outline.

I know I might get hate for this but whatever XD I really like looking at graffiti. When I’m in a car and looking out the window, I see a bunch of street graffiti everywhere. I know it’s kinda illegal but it’s actually really pretty! A lot of them are super amazing and made by talented “gangsters”. I’m really interested in it, I don’t want to break the law and paint all over the streets but I want to learn it. It’s kinda a weird to some of my friends since I’m almost a 12 year old girl that for some reason, like the idea of spray painting. Since they imagine graffitis. I’m really hoping to get some equipment for my birthday! >w< I’ll have to ask from my parents tho
@GraffitiTutorials

That's awesome! You don't have to do anything illegal to be an awesome artist who uses spraypaint. Theres some great street artists around nowadays who dint do anything illegal. Dont worry about what anyone else says, just do what you enjoy and what makes you happy. I started when I was your age and now I have my own business and I spraypaint as my full time job! Graffiti Tutorials Thank you!
What is the name of the song in intro pls ?
lil tip, when your doing your sketch or even your outline i recommend you don't pause and stop spraying at each line. instead you should do continuous lines. this should speed up the process and teach you action flow when painting. also it seems like you may be worrying about drips when you're filling, which is causing you to spray too fast and miss parts of the fill. the cans are high pressure so you should be able to distance the can from the wall a bit more, this will cause the spray to be less dense, leading you to not have to worry about drips while also increasing the radius of the spray.
nice !!!
first I was like "thats not a frog!"
