This is a tutorial with subtitles on the steps I took to paint a sea shell still life with watercolors. The original painting was done on a 5x7 inch piece of Arches 140 lb cold-pressed watercolor paper. I use Winsor & Newton professional water colors and the names are listed throughout the video: burnt umber, indigo, permanent rose. I use Billy Showell kolinsky brushes in sizes 6 and 2 round, and 3/4" Silver Black Velvet oval synthetic brush.
