Let's finish up this airbrush painting lesson from last week. This painting tutorial is of a rose and is designed for beginners. We are going to be finishing up the rose pedals and painting in the stem and leaves. I'm using an iwata custom micron takumi (at 20psi), createx illustration colors, smooth canvas, and ink erasers for highlights. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them below so that I can get back to you. Thanks for watching!

I must say that you are beautiful brother. I truly, tremendously love watching you airbrush brother. The only thing that I truly don’t like. Is you don’t have more videos to watch. I have actually looked at other airbrush artists. Airbrushing pretty much the same things. That you are airbrushing, but I would rather watch your airbrushing videos. Over and over and over again until you come out. With some new ones I’m more into Portraits. I can watch you all day I have purchased. Everything that you have shown in your videos that will help me become more powerful in airbrushing Portraits. I love, love your work please show the world more of your airbrushing.❤❤❤❤

It is a crime that you do not have more subscriber's. Thank you for the quality and accuracy of the information you teach us. Colour mixing ratio's are awesome, thank you. From a beginners perspective, I'd love to see your very experienced take on masking: tape, film, vinyl,...... differnent brands of frisket?? I don't know,,,,,, I think most beginning airbrush artist are swamped with a choice of products these days (I know these kids :) it's not the 80's any more!) You obviuosly carry a great weight of experience behind your tutelage. You still have me on the pencil,,,, maybe you have scared me away from the airbrush??????? Either way you are a gem, and my life is better because I found you. All the best. ( p.s if you don't tell us your name I'm going to start calling you Rupperecht,,, or John.)

I appreciate that. Thanks so much! Makes me very happy to hear that. For tape brands, I really like anything by 3M. Scotch blue and frog tape are my favorite masking, 3M blue vinyl tape is best imo, and frisket doesn't make much of a difference. I just like large rolls of it- Grafix and artool are both very good.

@@theartworkshop would really love for you to take a critical eye to the work of the late Richard Corben in the future, his airbrush work is magnificent and i would love your opinion on his approach and techniques if it interests you 😄🤔

@@jameselmerbaumann7450 I'm so sorry for the late reply. I didn't see this comment until now! Corben's work is fantastic. Surreal-ish with a commercial comic book vibe. Really cool stuff. I'll have to read up on him and study some of his work. Thank you for this!

Great Video, but I have no idea how you can make that Createx paint to flow through your Airbrush, I guess you over reduce that thing, because in my case ,no matter what I do , it tip dry in less than 10 sec specially the White Opaque , that`s why I changed to Golden High Flow and never looked back again, All my Illustration bottles were straight to the trash.

Thanks! Over reducing with distilled water helps. Golden High Flow are outstanding paints. One of the best out there, but just too hard to erase or scratch for me. They used to be the only paints i used too.

I have had no problems at all with Createx and that is without thinning if I choose. I use a .2mm Mr Hobby and H+S. Good luck!👍✌️

People make thousands of dollars passing out the information that you do.. I would defiantly look into that unless you enjoy passing on your experiences :)
