I always love your painting videos and explaining so much. I never had the chance to use a sprayer because of the jobs being remodels or basement. The houses that I would have done the finished drywall they always had their own painters. But I agree so much how important it is with the prep work and especially removing plastic and other things while the paint is wet. I've seen other painters use that sprayer system and they are very happy with it as well. One of the biggest things I love is how most of your jobs are all smooth ceilings etc. In our area there's so much textures on ceilings and I do like one that I've done quite a while is a Spanish texture but very light and when it does it actually looks like clouds on the ceiling. But I do agree that I love smooth ceilings as well. Great job Josh and hats off to your helpers as well. 👍🏻👍🏻🔨🔨

I built a home and the builder would not finish the garage, they taped and did some mud but there are many imperfections in the tape and mud, do I need to sand it all apply more mud to even out perfections prior to painting?

You could do that for sure but when you use a blower to remove the dust from the walls, it adds extra dust in the atmosphere. I hope that helps!

Why do a lot of new places have the garage unfinished? I’ve heard that because of tax purposes maybe but idk

It has to be drywalled and at least taped in order to meet code if t is attached to a living space. So basically builders are just cheap for not going all the way

Garages are not counted as finished square footage so it doesn’t matter if they are finished or not, basements people intentionally do not finish when built so they get a tax break on the square footage and then finish them later so they dont get taxed on the finished square footage.
