@@ArtbyPaulClark Paul, you might as well use a special liquid that you can then wipe off and paint on white clean paper, because. paint of a different color may inadvertently get on the painted areas ....☝️🤔☝️🤨☝️🤫

Good morning Paul, I set my alarm for 3:30 to catch you on watercolor Wednesday ! I can hardly wait to get started, I wanted to paint this beautiful picture in the group challenge , just didn’t know how ! I was hoping for my new brushes by now , but that’s ok I will hurry up and wait, maybe today….it takes about 2 weeks to the USA ! It’s just the truth…if you feel it as a compliment…so much the better …you deserve it all…I wish I had the money to “subscribe” or whatever…as it is,though…the long arm of the law is foreclosing on my house etc…If I should ever win the Lottery,though..I would finally cross the pond to see Ireland…(I’ve been singing her songs for years…) and maybe get to meet you in person…have a quick pint (or two) and talk watercolors for awhile..

Ahhhh..... goodness, what a stupendous treat! Unfortunately, I have been away recovering from back surgery and missed my most favorite day of the week, Wonderful Watercolor Wednesday! And might I say, this was truly a glorious one to come home to. My own garden is currently in full bloom and the front entrance to my home is bursting in brilliant color. Your painting brings the joy and life of the festive floral season to us in a way that only you and the magic that you work with watercolor can. As always, thank you for sharing your amazing world and work with us. I can't wait to give this a go and to make it my own by adding in some of the flowers that are currently blooming in my garden! 👩‍🦳🖌️

Thank you Paul, I really enjoy the way you demo your paintings so clearly and have watched them all, sometimes twice, as I love the tips you give along the way. I think I recently did a search of your videos looking for flowers. I want to paint some pretty flowers to possibly make into stickers. Hi Jacqueline! Yes, you are right, and my paintings have become more professional thanks to the drawing lessons of our Paul! In general, I also love such rural landscapes more than painting food, objects, portraits or sea waves. I dream of painting a small old church or chapel in English countryside. My cousin is an English teacher, she trained in Britain at Oxford. She received a certificate and an honorary diploma of a translator. Now she works as a teacher in an educational institution and gives private lessons as a tutor and governess. But she lives in Moscow, and I live in Kaliningrad Southern Baltic. 😲Love the way you mix pastel with your painting. I was thinking of trying some of those PhMartin inks for bright flowers but don't know enough about it. I'm a retired teacher and am having fun learning watercolor. Thanks for sharing your art in such an enjoyable way....and love the drink breaks!

Hi Paul, another great demo. Thank you for such a lovely day at Scotney Castle, the time just flew. I will continue to work on my painting in ‘the studio’ (kitchen) and use my sketches and photos to try some more. The techniques used today will come in very useful. I will also be buying this months ‘Leisure Painter’ to have a go at your step by step painting of the steps and doorway into the castle. Thanks again to you both, Mary
