Apart from getting oil into the egusi, the preparation of the combo preseves the egusi also ie to stay longer months.

I have stayed without using palm oil for 2 years, instead I use vegetable oil to substitute That is I cook okra soup, ogbono soup, egusi soup, groundnut soup ....even bean with groundnut oil it's not bad but in the case of the draw soup it won't be fine in appearance but teast good.😊 And I have tried cooking without oil too

And this is a way to avoid sneaking oil into bag wahala 😂

You can do same for ogbono. In that case, when Cooking the soup, you just pour the ognono inside the boiling stock say meat or fish, no fear of curdling again. The ogbono combo can only be used for ogbono soup then

If it is liquid, it is limited You have to check the airline you will be using to know the limit in (ml)
