Finally, I keep seeing these great lunches but it seems like no one covers the different temps of foods together. Maybe it’s not a challenge for many, lol but for me it’s huge. Thanks

How to prevent pasta in the soup from getting soggy? I tried multiple times (undercook the pasta and try different types of pasta but they all came out soggy in the thermos by the time I eat)... I consider packing the pasta separately and tossing them into the soup in the thermos right before eating but was wondering if there is a better way to do it.

Thank you! My son started kindergarten and I was so lost as to how to pack cold and hot items. No nuts(peanut butter) so I’m like trying to figure out what to pack that he will actually eat. So thank you for the video

What really needs to be invented is a thermos flask that is cold, but can be warmed up from an internal battery. Why does that not exist?

  • @Eszra

I'd say because the battery might be to big or risk of a fire.

Eszra what about that gel stuff that gets hot when it crystalizes? you get it in hand warmers

  • @Eszra

***** Well it might be toxic or become toxic, or need to be refilled after every use and that could be annoying. Also if small children get a hold of the crystals they might think it's candy and try and eat it or get burned. I think the only logical thing is this method. Even a plug in could be a problem.

  • @MOMables

celene p in a thermos. You can put all hot foods inside a thermos not just soups. Pasta, mashed potatoes and chicken, rice, whatever. If it doesn't stay hot, you are not heating it up long enough or your thermos isn't meant to hold temperatures as long as you need it to. Some hold for 4-5h while others 12 even 18! The thermos you have makes a difference as well.

Using a thermos isn't ideal for having lunch that requires a knife and fork. Unless you purchase a bento type box. Trying avoid that.

So cutting it before packing it inside a thermos is not an option? Unfortunately there are no wide enough thermoses to be able to cut the food inside. The problem is not the video it's that no thermos exist that can do what you want it to do. A wider thermos exists, you can find it in this video:bit.ly/thermoscontainers

No food in a thermos is not an option. It will get mixed and mushed. Unless you use several thermoses. Your video should be called how to keep soup hot in a thermos.

No. I have a video for that here:kzread.info/dash/bejne/apqK1teto5jTpM4.html. This video shows that you can pack a thermos with different thins inside the same lunch bag. Most people don't know that. Good luck with your lunch packing. Seems like you have limited options.
