Really enjoyed the video! My husband and I were in Paris in late October 22...it was very warm and more crowded than usual but we had a lovely time...stayed in St Germaine area as per usual. I am glad you and your daughter in law had such a great trip!

Love it all! Great tips. We were there (and Italy) last March and April. I'm a notorious over-packer! I took 3 trench coats, beige, black and a full length burgundy that I bought at Robinson's-May back in 1979. It cost $299 on sale and it took me 6 months to pay it off. Lol. Still good as new. Of course, it doesn't get much use. I live in Southern California.

Fantastic looks for your trip! I’ve been to Paris twice, but not recently. I’d love to go again! You’ve definitely inspired me. Would love to see more of the outfits Kelly wore, as she and I are the same size. Thanks Beth! ❤

You are very beautiful and elegant ! I will visit Paris next week and find your video very useful. Thank you! 💕
Loved this video. We spent 5 nights of our 2 week vacation in Paris. It is a magical city, especially Montmartre. You looked lovely in all of the outfits. We travel with carry-on only so I cannot bring as many pairs of shoes or clothing choices as you did. A color scheme is key to mixing and matching outfits and I also never bring my good jewelry. Our next trip is to Spain. I can hardly wait.

Love Spain! It has a special place in my heart as I had a year abroad in Spain during college. Enjoy!
i go to paris next week & i PRAY that it rains at least one whole day bc i totally bought one of those tan trench coats…gotta fit the aesthetic😂 i will be really sad if i don’t get to wear it ),:

Great wardrobe packing tips Beth! Would love to see accessory packing too. I see you’re wearing a hat in some of the shots. Did you take scarves or other items as well? You packed some bulky items as well. Do you utilize packing cubes?
@BethDjalali
Жыл бұрын
All great questions! Yes, I packed a hat or too and I utilize packing cubes.
You were the most stylish one there by far Beth. Most people walking around looked like frumps. French style? Hmmm….
Did you learn some basic French before going? I visited Paris many years ago. Divine!
@BethDjalali
Жыл бұрын
No, but I've been toying with the idea of learning French. Maybe Rosetta Stone or Babble is in my future.
Hi Beth. Did you plan this trip on your own, or did you work with a travel company? My husband and I want to go to France this year and want to see other parts in addition to Paris. Did you check in your baggage or take a carry-on? Great packing tips, Beth. You looked so stylish as always.

I planned the trip myself but I did enlist a tour company to book tours and the car from the airport. And I always check my bags. God bless the people who pack in a carry on but that's not me.

Hello Beth! Thanks for all your tips! One question, I love color specially jewel tones in Fall, but in my recent trip to Asia I felt a bit out of place. Everyone was wearing neutral colors, except for a couple of ladies at a church in South Korea. Specially as a Latina, I love ruby red and emerald green. Bought a beautiful blue poncho from Ann Taylor to take to my trip in November, but around 0.1% of the people I saw were wearing color. I asked myself why? Would you know?

I have to add, I love these countries I went to! People are so amazing, very corteous! My question stems from my desire not to offend when I go back, Lord willing!

That's a great question! But I don't have a specific answer. I lived in Vietnam years ago and they wear bright colors. I also lived in Shanghai where they did not embrace colors. I'm scratching my head too.
I can’t find/ open links you’ve shared to your fashion choices.
where do you buy your cashmere sweaters? The link to shop your outfits is invalid!!
I'm also a fan of Paris, Elizabeth Zott, and Ralph Lauren. As an author of women's fiction and historical fiction, I have two books on Audible. I'd love to send you a paperback or an eBook link to my new cozy mystery featuring "women of a certain age" in the Texas Hill Country. It's the kind of armchair travel I think you'd enjoy.

I know it’s what everybody says but neutrals just leave me cold. I need lots of color in my life.

Totally agree, but when aim traveling I’ll reach for neutral wardrobe staples. It’s just an easy tip to follow and makes packing less stressful.
