I am stumped why people would watch a video posted by Net A Porter and then complain about the prices of the clothing or the aesthetic. If you're using a £600 train case and had your wedding dress designed by Valentino, you're not travelling on a budget airline.

You don't have to be rich to dress in style. I always find similar cheaper clothes etc, and look fantastic. I prefer not to waste money and time showing off with people who only value material things, and who don't appreciate others for what they really have inside. Have a nice day!

This is fantastic, it really made me think about the varied ways of packing to suit a particular trip. If just going to one destination and not moving around in a country, wrangling your luggage on public transport, I'd absolutely pack a train case ( which I have) and my medium suitcase. I always check in my suitcase for any flights domestic or international, and just bring a tote into the cabin. Coming from the southern hemisphere, it takes an average of 22 hours flying to get to Europe and you just feel a moral pressure to make the most of your time by seeing lots of places, to justify such a journey. Getting up into those high trains or up stairs into gorgeous quaint authentic accommodation, without help, I'm now all about packing a small suitcase (for me that means 22-inch). But for a single-destination holiday well, I'm not trying to win any competition for most compact baggage. Also, the tip for slippers on the flight was great, and also about wearing mostly dresses :) So thank you for the inspiration!

i know, everytime i go to europe i always try to fit everything into a carry on duffel bag. the first 2 times i went i brought suitcases with wheels and the cobblestone streets ruined them. especially because i usually visit 2 or more countries while im out there (or moving around one country by train) its just easier to take one bag that you can carry

This didn't give me anything. Poor use of the space, no planning behind the choices and the possibility to get the most out of each piece. I always pick things that can be mixed and matched endlessly.

You could easily fit basic toiletries in the main case. The packing isn't very good either. Not hugely realistic

What's the "how to" about this video? Except for showing off a designer wardrobe, I'm not sure what this is about. If you folded your clothes properly, you wouldn't have to sit on top of it. Ever :). That's a "how to", though.
