Another great video Rosie, Thanks for the info. Quick question, How do you add the comment bubbles and other graphics to your video. Also, your editing is very fluid which helps you cover the material you want to share quickly. I also have a SL KZread channel but I am terrible at editing. My video editing skills are pretty much ZERO! Can you give me some editing tips? :) Thanks in advance! :)

I use wondershare filmora which is very easy and intuitive to use plus they have lots of tutorials on youtube for you to follow...hope that helps 😀

Great thanks. Im just tryyng to wrap my head around how folks are paying $200 + per month for private land. When you buy land from a resident, do yu pay any fees on top of the initial cost and anything to LL?

Yes there are monthly land tier fees depending on how many sqm you own. If you are premium you get the first 1024sqm free so no monthly fee, anything above that there is a charge. You can see these charges by logging into your account on the website www.secondlife.com then go into account to bring up your Dashboard, then on the top left find land manager, then go into land use fees

Quick question I hope someone can answer. I'm a premium plus member, if I find a place I would like to rent can I use my land allotment towards that or will I have to pay the whole rental price? thanks

Renting from another resident has nothimg to do with your land allowance. The land allowance you can use to either claim a linden home or buy a plot of mainland

6:30 "Keep your monthly land use fees at US$31.00 per month" im a SL noob so what does this mean? :< i have premium with 1024sqm of land i can use, does this mean i would have to pay 31$ extra every month for my land

If you stay at 1024sqm then there is no extra fee but if you buy more land then that will start to incur a monthly land use fee

I always lived in peoples walls rent free. Im taking applications if you want this friendly smexy monster to live inside your walls post a link!

Very shady terminology here. "Free" land insofar you have a subscription. Buy and own the land forever.. yeah no.. that monthly sub you're paying for premium to be able to buy that land is effectively renting that land too. "Abandoned land" is also not free. You have to buy at a rate of $1L per square meter. What a sham. :/

With premium membership you get a variety of benefits not just a land allowance at no extra fees. I think what they charge is a good price when you compare it to other subscription based games and the fact that you don't HAVE to subscribe to take part in second life, is a excellent option and in no way a sham

@@rosiehelendalesecondlifevlog You misunderstood me. What is the term LL USES (actually uses) to describe the land you're getting with the tier? The so-called "abandoned" land? Free.

@hwyterrorist They mean that the first ,512sqm, 1024sqm or 2048sqm (depending on membership level) is free of monthly land tier fees. I hope that clears up your confusion

"(depending on your membership level)" - something you did say.. proves my point. I know "free" to mean something else. Perhaps, Free* is more fitting.
