For anyone having error code 577, unplug your controller, take a pin or a paper clip and reset your controller by pressing it into the small top right hole on the back of your controller which is the reset button and holding it there for like 10 seconds. This worked for me and allowed me to overclock it without the error popping up. If you did click yes when the error popped up and messed up your driver, uninstall the damaged driver in Device Manager on your PC and then plug your controller back in

Works good for me i use a mouse and a ps3 navigation controller instead of a keyboard. 1000 is the polling rate which is how many times it reports info usually it is 250 i believe.

For those who dont know you'renot actually overclocking your controller,whats being overclocked is the USB port...You cant take the controller and plug it to your console it wont be overclocked,only that port which the controller was plugged into on the PC will be overclocked... So make sure to plug your controller to that specific USB port when playing...

Perfect video, everything works just fine. If you are having issues with your ps5 controller bInterval being stuck at for do this: 8000 > Install service > Unplug then replug your controller back in. Should work flawlessly!

on cod u dont need to use ds4 when u use a cable but wirelessly yes u need ds4

yo i havw windows 10 but it happened to me because i didnt disable it so judt go to devices and then click on your controller and click remove and then just plug it back in

When pressing "install service" the "open file" popup where you hit "open" would not appear. I had followed all steps correctly. I uninstalled winrar and extracted the files through windows. This solved my issue. If you are having trouble, uninstall winrar.

note: you only need to hit install service once. installing the service is just linking the program to your usb driver for the controller allowing the program to modify the values.

FOR EVERYONE WITH ANY ERRORS WHEM OVERCLOCKING. Go to Lqwid’s channel and watch his overclock tutorial he shows you how to bypass the annoying error that you get. And if you messed up that usb/your controller it’ll bring it back to normal when you follow his step.

Yes, I check sometimes just in case but it still stays. If you switch controllers you have to do it again tho

everything works but when i go to filter on device it says enabling this is probably impossible and it dosent have a 1 ms next to it

Seems to have worked on my Scuf Instinct controller for Xbox. I was skeptical because I heard normal Xbox controllers weren't overclockable but it felt like a big difference to me. Doesn't seem to work very well on my Turtle Beach Recon though, rate goes to 1000 but Bintervals stay the same. Might help a little bit but idk

@@thomasebbs8506 ps4 controller max overclock is 1.0ms(1000hz), ps5 max overclock is around 0.5ms-1ms (8000hz-1000hz) and varies dependent on cord and usb port used, xbox max overclock is 4ms(250hz)

i wish someone would mention how this doesnt work on xbox controllers.... you can overclock it but if you download an input tester or even play a game youll notice its stuck at 7ms due to the factory hardware in the xbox controllers. xbox controllers stuck at 7ms and ps controller can get down to literally 0ms.... its a no brainer i had to cop a playstation controller

Yeah, and also I wish people asked if you needed to be connected through usb or if you can do it via wireless connection. I thought my problem was that my controller was connected via bluetooth and not wired. But it might be because it's an xbox controller like you said, or it's just both.

There 0 ms is fake. In reality is sub 1 ms. But there is more to it than that. High polling rates actually hurt more than they help. But no one will ever think to try other wise. If u know u know

Common errors I found fixes to: 1. If you are getting errors disable secure boot in your bios. 2. If you are on ps5 and you're interval is stuck at 4. Try using 8000 instead of 1000.

Anyone having issues doing this with an Xbox One controller? I click install service and the pop up window doesn't pop up Edit: I got it to work. The pop up window doesn't matter if it opens or not. Follow Shotzzy's steps and you're golden. Appreciate the video man!

doesnt work on xbox controllers my guy only works for playstation controllers. even after you overclock it if you download an input tester you will see that its still stuck at 7-8ms while the playstation controller can get all the way down to 0ms. this is due to the factory hardware inside the xbox controllers, they are unable to be overclocked and are stuck at 7ms

For anyone still looking for a solution to red colored box and controller not working after this, in windows 11: 1. Open the registry editor on W11 (regedit). 2. Go to this path "Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\CI\Policy". 3. Add a new DWORD (32-bit) value, name it "UpgradedSystem" and leave the value on 0. 4. Restart PC 5. Follow the usual steps to overclock your controller as you did on W10.

this is not working for me, my regedit has EmodePolicyRequired, SkuPolicyRequired, and VerifiedAndReputablePolicyState entries in that directory. I'm not very computer savy so I dont know what to change
