Usually Saturday is my day to clean and do laundry. Watching your video I see that spreading out some of cleaning throughout the week can me keep on top of things and not feel so overwhelmed on Saturdays. My life has gotten a little busier and being better organized can help cut down on the unnecessary clutter and stay on top of things. Thank you Alaina 🎊 😊 💓

I use a bowl full of lemons idea of cleaning cards for a deep clean: using cue cards I break down rooms and theirs chores over 4 weeks . Each week I tackle one card. For example week 1 may be master bedroom, master closet, master bath, laundry room, main bathroom. I would have detailed list of what needs to be done in each zone , ceiling fans, base boards , windows , dust , etc. It makes it less overwhelming. On top of this I have daily or weekly things to do to keep the home in order. This way I can schedule to complete each week on days I have time .

@@03skinnymini i don’t think so. I had done the fly lady years ago - we’ll attempted it but found it overwhelming. This system I can do and make it my own .

I love all your videos! You helped me so much with my transition to being a stay at home mom. I have always worked, sometimes 2 or 3 jobs at a time and when my husband asked me to stay home with our children, I was kind of lost at what really needed to be done around the house on a regular basis and needed some guidance. Thank you again for all your help!

Cleaning house is NOT my jam but the way you have organized it ( daily, weekly, monthly and when was the last time,) makes the whole process more tolerable. And the piece de resistance, introducing it into your monthly/weekly planner ahead of time. I am using my Pomodora app to time my tasks to 25 minutes and that helps me to work speedily and efficiently so I can get it over and done with. A little music alongside really helps the time to go quickly for a lot of tasks in general. Great video as usual, thank you.

I like using when did I last lists because with my bipolar disorder it can be hard to focus or have energy to do task that I need to do regularly so what I do is color code based on how important and time sensitive a task is so that way I can stay on top of what I need to do but also prioritize when my energy is limited

In the morning, I fix my bed, put away dishes in dishwasher and put new load in if I didn’t do it the night before and put things in the proper home - I live in a small space, so I go clockwise haha. Routine is key! In the PM I clear the work space…. Luckily, I have a cleaner that comes every 3 weeks to do the deep clean. Otherwise, I just keep things organized and away. My tip is to keep the motto “every item has a home”. If it doesn’t, that is my deeper issue.

I am sorry, but all that you have for your AM routine done in 30 minutes is unrealistic. Loading and unloading a dishwasher can take 30 minutes alone. Maybe if you live by yourself, but not for a large family.
