The organization solutions all had less stuff in the final result than what started there. The problem isn't the organizing, but how to handle such a high capacity of stuff!

I would always opt for closed storage at the front door, except for decorative items and guest coat hooks. Not only would I paint the inside of the pantry and closet bright white, but I would use a high gloss trim paint to make it even easier to keep clean and unscuffed. Definitely use the pantry door for storage, but I think unpackaging stuff to put in jars is a time waster and doesn't solve what to do with the leftovers in the box that don't fit into the jar, or the boxes waiting to be emptied. Behind closed doors, I don't need it to be in a pretty jar as long as it's organized. Packaging is also easier to shift without fear of breaking if something falls. Just me, but I don't like using the floor for storage. I prefer to have a just-above-floor height shelf with a trimmed toe tick. Great to have lights inside the pantry and coat closet. It can even be handy to have an outlet in a closet for charging appliances, etc.. Love the pull out caddy and door storage under the sink. I hang my spray bottles and scrub cloths on hooks inside the doors of my sink so they are too handy to ignore!

I need to take down our wire shelving in the pantry and coat closet --- that looks so much better. We have it in all four bedroom closets too and I deeply dislike it in those places as well 🤦... definitely need to figure out closet systems for those spaces though

Loved under the sink! That worked really well. Under my sink is so scary and nasty! I don't have too much so I guess I just need to clean, paint, measure, magic, and put everything back.

Pantry revamp was very good. Pantrys r hard 2 maintain. Cause u want 2 put up ur gro 2 get it done, but if u hsv a good sys in place its not so hard

I just saw your do the finishing touches, can we see how you measure, buy, cut timber, mitre, and then most of all fix the batons to the wall, please. Ive never used a drill.

Most of these messy areas can be easily solved by getting rid of stuff you don't use. I see at least 10 types of cleaners and several half-empty bottles for each....
