@Better Greek team, I believe that your slides should use Latin characters, on top of the English translation; not everyone is fluent in the Greek alphabet and language, and I guess that is why you upload those videos, for the non-Greek speakers, who can read a text written with Latin characters! If you do this, your videos will be very useful, internationally!! Take care xox

HOW DO YOU SAY "CAN WE ORDER?" INSTEAD OF CAN I ORDER?

The example he has in the video is “can we order” at 0:43, “να παραγγείλουμε;” or “na pa-ra-GEE-loo-meh) (To say “can I order” is “να παραγγείλω;” or “na pa-ra-GEE-low”)

I just point at the menu when I 'm in Greece and say " I want please ". Most times it's what l like. ( Except for the Goat's testicles ! ) . It's the luck of the draw really . But it didn't work one time ! The waiter said " You can't have that ! " l said " Why not ? " He replied " because it says " The Wine and Beer list is on the back page ! "

Listen brother, when learning a language it is best to have only one variation. Otherwise the mind gets over burdened.

This is a rather blunt comment, but it is basically true. The language used is not for a complete beginner. I liked it because it builds on the small amount of basic Greek that I know.

You should pay a little more attention to the title. It says “like a pro”. That is to say, he’s willing to show us the various ways you can make yourself understood when ordering food. If you’re a complete beginner, go find yourself a suitable video.
