No. I've seen people using this technique in their interviews to be at-least on top of those people who didn't even answered the question.

No. It doesn't really depend on the most optimized solution but your presentation and analytical skills with communication matters the most
I had a bad interview today..my interviewer gave me a problem and said please dont use brute force to solve this 🙄
