This is a very good, very inclusive video. Theres only one thing you forgot to mention thats very important: After washing your contact lenses, its important to put them into a clean container with fresh solution. I never knew that contact lens washer existed. Im going to have to get one now.

I don't wear eye contacts, neither glasses, but seing this whole process to put lenses, I felt comfortable to watch because it's all so organized and clean 😍

I told my sister that my contact is not going inside my eye she said "Take your eye out put the lens and stick it back in" and i was like WTH?!

for people who are afraid to put in/take out: you probably don't realize just how often you touch your eye. when touching the white part, you may not even notice it because you don't really feel much there (unless there's an eyelash or something). The part that actually hurts is the colored part of your eye, but you're covering that with the contacts, so you won't even touch it. trust me, you'll be fine

Most people think wearing contacts is easy... Like I used to, but it's been really difficult for me! Now I know why, because of my eyelashes. This is going to help me a lot. Great video.

By the way guys,it often says that you should dispose of the lenses 1 year after you've opened and first worn them. Bacteria actually grows very fast. Of course,if you only wear them like 3 times a month, you can easily wear them for more than half a year. So,the more you wear them, the sooner you should get rid of them. It's your eyes after all,we're talking about. Stay safe (and still have fun with the contact lenses)!

this is an amazing tutorial on wearing and caring for contacts, when it said "rewetting" I was so glad it wasn't another person telling people to rewet dried up contacts and put them in their eyes..

I suggest you do buy some sorta lens washer cause rubbing it at the palm of your hand doesnt fully get rid of the protein and you might damage it. its your eye invest in a good solution like biotrue and buy a lense washer like this one or a jitter bug type . it goes a long way and you won't cause eye infection for yourself take i seriously.

You will need something to clean colored contacts like these ones. These contacts aren't ones from your doctor. These are ones that have been in that solution for a long time as they wait for purchase and shipment, it's important to clean contacts you buy online because there might be bacteria trying to grow in the old solution. That's why your doctor tells you to clean the solution you put them in every so often. Even regular contacts may need to be cleaned every once in a while if you don't change the solution regularly and keep them in a clean environment. I understand you may have used contacts for many years, but if you aren't cleaning contacts that have been in solution for a long while you can get infections in your tear ducts, among other things. The eyes are extremely sensitive to change, that's why many people can't wear contacts, and why just a simple grain of sand underneath one can damage your eyes. Take care of your contacts! For regular contacts, all that's needed is a carrying case (like the yellow cookie one she had) and solution. Just be sure to change the water constantly to keep contacts clean and hydrated. For contacts you buy online for cosplaying and such, be absolutely positive they are clean before any usage, and this is a good video to show you how.

Eden Blue practice! I have been wearing contacts for years, and putting them in is second nature to me. I recently had my prescription change, and they had to change the size since my eyes were so big! 14mm is a common size for circle lenses, and that's the size of prescription contacts I have on now. you'll get the hang of it after a while

You don't need everything that is shown in the video, it just makes your life easier. You really only need the solution and the case usually comes with it if not it's like 84 pence on amazon to get it. So it's less than £1. Also it would be a bit daft to only wear it once because if so then you could wear it another time.

I just opened a pair of my new circle lenses and whenever I put this lenses on my eyes they often sticked to my upper eyelids that I needed to pull them down with my finger and adjust them to be in the center. Recently, after 10 mins of wearing them, my eyes hurt and got red. Even after I took them off, my eyes sting so much and my visions got blurry. I'm buying a new pair now. Hopefully nothing will happen this time. cuz that's my first time to have problem with circle lenses. I love circle lenses, I think they're one of the most genius product on earth. lol

Iman Farooq ikr. I'll be broke if this keeps happening. The new pairs of circle lenses I bought have the same problem bruh! wth. I even try(bought) a new brand of circle lenses solution. It's been almost a week already for me to not wear contacts, I feel so uncomfortable wearing glasses. It's not inside out btw. I've been wearing lenses for more than 2 years so I know. If it was inside out, eyes would hurt the second I put the contact in one eye, but this one hurt after 10 minutes- 1 hour usage.

My advice for putting on contacts is stare at something else instead of the incoming contact. Like at a mirror or something, it really helps.

thank you so much for this great video. i never know about the all the stuff such as contact lens travel kit , contact lens washer and contact lens holder. it helps me a lot

guys just telling you now, you do not need that type of case and the tools. and no it doesnt hurt AT ALL putting the lenses in but you will have trouble putting them in for the first time(its normal). i recommend using eye drops specially for contacts only to keep them moist, clean and bright looking (for beginners). Yes keep ypur hands clean (never use hand sanitizer) and it wont infect your eye big time like seriously ive had mine go on the sink and all i did was rinse with the multipurpose solution.

omg I didn't know you aren't supposed to use hand sanitizer.I used parfumed hand sanitizer when I tried to put my lenses on.My eye started to get red and It basically hurt so I took it out but if I look back,It makes sense,some of the sanitizer got into my eye.

Quick story time, I wear a contact lens for the first time today. I really like it, it doesn't feel uncomfortable, when you put the softlens in, you dont feel anything. But when I want to take it out of my right eye, it's only the half of my softlens, meaning my softlens just broke inside and my softlens have no colour >.< I cry for like 5 minutes and then my softlen just come out *because I cry*

I am just to get my first pair, and do I have to change the solution in the lens case everytime I put them back in? How often should I change the solution in the case?

+AimiVanilla solution is for cleaning it and store it. When you use it, throw the solution out. Use it for the whole day *if ur eyes get dry, put some eye softlens drop* When you go home, clean your softlens with solution, store it in the contact lens place. Make sure to use a really good softlens brand that have many percentage of water. *Remember use eye drops for contact lens, it is different with normal eye drops and solution*

+Lunatic I've been using lenses for 4 months, doctor told me to; * remove and pour new portion of solution to the containers each time I place lenses in it (i mean, never put lenses in solution they were in before) * if not using lenses, yhey can stay in the same soluyion for 2 days, after that time remove and pour new solution * actually, you don't need to fill the containers completely, 2/3 is totally enough, the goal is to let the lense sink in it and be fully covered in liquid * you don't need to wash your container each time with solution, you can pour some boiled water on it, then wipe the container, pour solution and put the lense man, that is long.. comment back if any more info needed 🙃

is it hurt ? im nervous now . im gonna use it :( im afraid of putting them on and putting them out of my eyes. i have long eyelashes too :(

I like your video. It's make me feel easy to clean, check , put on and removed my contact lenses

What if you don't put eye drops while wearing contacts? Will your eyes be damaged (especially if there's a grade on the lenses)? Also, if you eyes are a little red on the whites yet not itchy, what does it mean? Sorry for the questions HAHA still new in wearing contacts soooo... Btw, great video!! really helpful :)

Also, before starting to wear contacts, please check your eye size do you can get the right ones. you can do it with an eye doctor but some places that sell glasses and lens may also offer that.
