Amazing! Finally a video tutorial that doesnt just say "pop the board and slide your finger", which I always thought was bs. I just started a couple days ago, and have been trying to ollie for a few hours, but I can already get the board off the ground. Its super ugly and only like a couple millimeters off the ground, but its a start lol. The leg thing really helps to get the feel of rolling your wrist and pulling the board. What Ive found so far is that the pop is the most important part of this. If you cant get a good pop, where the board is at least vertical, youre not going anywhere. Anyway, thank you for posting this and for helping my wife and I finally get this going in the right direction lol.

Kind of an old comment but any other ways I can practice the tilt modtion because when I pop (I use 3 fingers) I can’t pop because the back truck stays on the ground and it doesn’t roll back, I try to pop hard but it either goes out of control or my front 2 fingers block it from going up

when you tilt the board back, do you pop it or just go fast bring the board into your hand? look like you didn't even pop the tail.

He's popping the board when he goes back. If you watch the slow motion closely, you can see the back wheels come off the ground before he starts to pull the board up/forward.

If you can do it, then just keep practicing and youll get them higher. Youve got the hardest part done, now just keep doing it.

I can't seem to do it without flicking my middle finger and it does a 360

i cant lift it backwards when it comes to the step 3. is that step 3 after the arm practice, is that it? okay but it helped the shit of me so i subscribed.

It's not hard guys if you keep on practicing the trick, don't gave up, always enjoy on what you do, try and try until you suceed and lastly try to find a way so that you can do the trick

What if I can some times get a kickflip but not a Ollie

I learning all trick of fingerboard with techdeck more difficult i guess than fingerboard

I can’t move my finger up

I just can’t get the board off the ground. I don’t if it’s just the fact that mines a tech deck, or if I’m just not pushing it hard enough. I can’t turn it upside down.

Dont push the board, flick your wrist. Its honestly all in the wrist. You pop the board by flicking your wrist hard and the back wheels should come off the ground. Once youve got the back wheels off the ground, drag your hand up and forward. Its definitely not easy, but practicing on your leg helps. Also, just practice popping the board by flicking your wrist. Literally just practice getting the board to pop, nothing else. Once you can get the board to consistently 'pop', you can try catching the board and then eventually drag your hand up/forward.

Put your fingers on a Ollie position, finger not on the nose lift up a bit then pop your finger will stop it 50/50 now just bring it down and slide away.......

You may be pulling your hand towards you, which is how you do a kickflip. Your finger position may need adjusting as well.
