I've always wondered if a native German speaker could watch these videos to learn/practice English by just understanding the video in reverse context.

Anyway, you’ve reminded me of a recent incident where my nephew was playing his video game and suddenly exclaimed, “What?! Why’s there five fucking portals here!?” Immediately, I felt an obligation to reprimand, and I shouted, “Hey, young man! Watch your mouth!.. Why ARE there five fucking portals.. not IS.. I know my baby sister raised you to speak better!” Fuckin’ kids these days. I tell ya. They just don’t take no bloody pride in their goddamn language anymore. 😬

Hallo! Ich habe eine Frage....in English sorry 😅 .... when you say "the verb xyz demands the akkusative" you refer to the verb at the end in the infinitive form. I have been identifying nouns/artikels as needing akkusative based on the first verb, like "Ich habe*....gehen" ... is it more proper to use the ending verb as the cue?
