For the start date, is it the date when you file the articles of incorporation or is it can just be whenever?
if I have already filed articles of nonprofit incorporation with my state and got confirmation back, do I still select other "nonprofit organization" as entity type or do I select "corporation" as entity type?
If you have an existing business using DBA which has EIN already and you want to open another business using DBA, you will have to get another EIN?

Think of the DBA sort of like a nickname. The consideration of whether to get another EIN depends more on issues of tax strategy, liability protection, and potential for unnecessary complexity. Thanks for watching!
Do I have to be LLC before I can apply for a non-profit EIN?? Thanks!

Not necessarily an LLC (can be a different type of entity), but the IRS says you should form a legal entity before obtaining your EIN. Here is what their website says: Don't apply for an EIN until your organization is legally formed. Nearly all organizations are subject to automatic revocation of their tax-exempt status if they fail to file a required return or notice for three consecutive years. When you apply for an EIN, we presume you're legally formed and the clock starts running on this three-year period.

If I selected for banking purposes, is there a way to change it to starting a new business? I already got the EIN number.

I honestly have no idea what the IRS does with that information. But it is easy to get a new EIN for a new entity.

I’m trying to do a non-profit for a youth baseball team. But since I created one with a name, I can’t use the same name for the new entity.
is is free , why there are so many sites tricking you to pay $250?
