Haha that's a good point. Don't add them to social media! I made that mistake. And when he likes my pics I would get all giddy. And when he posted pics of another woman I would feel a bit jealous lol. I ended up blocking him from social media. It really became toxic to watch his every move.

The guy who wanted a FWB with me defined a fwb as a relationship including dates and non-sex meet ups and every day texting... Like wtf?? So he wants relationship components, but no commitment?? His argument was cause he had no time...logic?? i was in the same situation but went through with it since he was transferring back to his original college and... you're right it ended badly for me since I am always the one catching feelings. i even confessed and got rejected.. he also became distant after i did that

@@ib961 I was in a fwb situation where I think at the end I did ended having feelings for her. Our whole time together lasted 6 months. In the beginning we both said that we were just friends. If we ever met someone else we would talk about ending our fwb. But over time we went out had sex whenever one of us wanted it. I guess that feelings started growing even if we didn't want them. We stopped talking for 3 weeks and when we talked again she said she was talking to someone else. I guess what I'm trying to say is that seeing her happy with someone else made me miss her and realized that some feelings developed. I hope she is happy and she deserves that. So answering your question men do catch feelings too

my dude did the same thing. a lot of kisses and cuddling and wrapping me in the blanket, etc. i definitely did not expect all of that going into it. and of course i caught feelings cause i was being treated like a girlfriend instead of just a fwb. i never catch feelings when i have hookups but now that i have i feel so much pain.

@Dark Caesar not always true I've been there. The friend was low key into me, try to deny it, get jealous when I talk/date other men. Hell the dude trusted me more than the women he dated. He was a commitment phobe forreal. But it was cool, he's a good friend, but not bf/husband material. It was fun while it last.

Which causes the problems most ppl here are having. Sex isn’t a toy. Men and women “break” their ability to have healthy, meaningful, long term committed sexual relationships (marriage, etc) and don’t even have knowledge of how it happened. No judgment at all. I see my fwb 4x a year (no joke) and he has the worst social media presence so there isn't that. Suprisingly we have been going like this for 6 years. (We were best friends since 2nd grade) We dont have benefits (only cuddles/kisses/jokes/humping) but I hate it that I am developing feelings for him. I hate this the most since I myself thought "we don't see eachother often so there is enough space" but when we see eachother, nowadays I need to recover almost a week. It sucks. Along the way, I've learnt one thing, if you're in it for the benefits, spell it out strictly and keep it low, keep it so , keep it on your terms, and discrete, respectful!
