I have hardly made it that far in RLCraft, but these very helpful informational vids have given me knowledge and confidence to try this deathly modpack again. Let's hope I've got equal parts knowledge and confidence, otherwise I might find myself dying just as much as before... XD

Bro... Amazing guide. I have a few hundred hours in RL but I still fear the Lost Cities a lot. You should also make boss guides. I personally do not understand them, even though I have killed them a couple of times. Your guides feel really easy to understand. Keep it up, mate!

Ever since me and my friends managed to max our gear after a huge grind, went into the lost cities, INSTA died, got stuck for hours, and lost so much progress... I figured I should warn people and tell them how to do it not like we did XD

just a note, if you have viper 5 instead of 2 on your weapon you're guaranteed poison on enemies which will increase your damage with the poison fang as well. This is combined with that bauble and also envenomed 3 though.

Great video! For weapons, what about the ice nunchuks? If you enchant to max and include supreme fire aspect II, does that still have the fire damage buff against LC creatures?

According to Nischi, yes it does currently, but will be patched in 2.10

I played scape and run on its own and got annihilated. While going through JEI in rlcraft, I saw the name and I was instilled with fear IV. Scape and run haunts me. I don’t know if I’ll ever make a portal. Heh, I kinda wanted to see how to make it just to avoid it. Thank you 🙏 Nonetheless, amazing video!!!

Yeah its just in the lost cities though, so if you never plan on going there's no worry lol. But if you max out in the overworld and want more content, I highly reccomend going on a stealth mission into the cities 👌

I love this mod and it introduced me to my favourite mod (parasite mod)

Another thing I would recommend is to stay away from any flying mob except the Assimilated Ender Dragon. Everything else just has useless loot that you don't require for anything

This is very true, though I like to just do that in a separate creative world so I don't take from the legitimacy of my other worlds

Sad that we cant get powerful enough to soar through lost cities, i mean its ok if we have to enter it as weak as we are rn and get realy strong there from like new armor and such but we realy need progressive gears imo

​@@Calebrune3 u can get it even in survival. U can make them from another type of pixie dust from the familiar fauna mod. U can get it from pixies in flower forest and they're very rare. Not the ice n fire ones. Or, u can make a makeshift potion of fairy or dragon transformation out of glowing potions. But their duration can't be extended with wine.

@@Calebrune3 ohh, yea my bad didnt realise it. if u want to extend it, wine is the only way. also, at 4:48, u are using the fairy ring and flying, but how are you not losing mana? and how did u get 600 max mana? also, another tip is to get iron skin, diamond skin and health boost for the buffs. unless ur good at stealth, in which case they become obsolete

Maxed weapons should be using Viper V, not Viper II like mine! ( Thanks for pointing that out @edwardcontreras3260 )

As far as I know, the fear effect in Rlcraft only messes with your right click actions and nothing else since I did not see any incoming damage increase while having the effect in the hours of time I spent in lost cities but further testing might be required to confirm that.

@@Lucifer-fm1ll This very likely could be true. I haven't directly tested it myself, I just figured it was something that should be mentioned. Shivaxi changed a lot of stuff from Scape and Run to make it work well with RLCraft, so it was hard to accurately document!

@@Lucifer-fm1ll I was also told after I made this vid that parasites are immune to poison. In which case my maxed weapon isn't the one preferred for LC, the fiery edge nunchuck build would be much better. (This is unconfirmed by myself, but it was from a trustworthy source)

Okay, so maybe heading into the cities with nothing on my L menu and no strengthened vitality AT ALL was a dumb idea for farming parasite parts. I’ll try this instead.

Could anyone tell me why the Faelis Claw as a bauble are so important? Is the bleed that useful?

The bleed is helpful since enemies can only adapt to so many damage sources. The better effect though is the flat 25% increase in damage the bauble gives you, which is extremely useful given the less hits it takes to kill an enemy in the lost cities the better.

One thing i hate is when the game gives hard content for us but we cant progress enough to win over it. No matter how endgame you are this biome will always be terrible and thats something i dont like.

Must just be a difference in taste then. I'm definitely one to like when it feels like everything is stacked against me, because when I do end up finishing it or beating a boss, its much more satisfying! It also makes the game feel super replayable and always a good challenge.

I built the whole obsidian room and a bunch of enemies still spawned near it and destroyed me any recommendations?

Carpet on every spawnable surface nearby. Since lc mobs can spawn on blocks regardless of light level, its exremely important to make sure spawnable surfaces are covered with unspawnable blocks like torches, carpets, slabs, glass, etc. Also idk how yours looks, but make sure to build it very high in the air as well since no other spawnable blocks are nearby.

On the max weapon you only have viper 2, but I don’t think sub pe is the Meta anymore cause potion sickness, also need curse of possession because losing weapon is bad neeas

How did I not see that! YES its supposed to be Viper V XD. As for curse of possession, I actually consider that optional for anything Lost Cities related, because death is still completely possible there at any point. If your meleeing a huge group of mobs and can't see the infernal potion effects, your doing it wrong.

Hello, no matter how much I look for the rings in the lost city, I can't find anything. I even ate a lucky potion, but I searched for about 40 minutes, but I didn't find anything. Is it possible that the game is bugged?

I doubt it. Lucky potions are helpful, but even when I was using the farie ring, sometimes I wouldn't find a race ring for 50 chests. Its rng finding them, so your best bet is to maximze your luck as much as you can (try ambrosia!) and find ways to make your chest looting efficiency as fast as you can.

Your approach is a lot diff than casualty Main diff is He showed a build that allows you to kill all the enemy's but requires a lot of things And you recommended a build that allows you get past most of them but doesn't require that many things You can have like 15 diff buffs at level 3 basically forever with wine so you won't die with casualty's build Or get your armour broken if u also used mending and repairing potion

Yep, maxing is fun, but not entirely needed. Also potion effects have a cap now before you get potion sickness, so you have to be a bit more wary of that with wine builds. Definitely fun though.

I hope they add guns next update I want to blast some parasites

7:54 Penetration is not a good enchantment for weapons as it reduces your damage in many cases. Also there are several other enchantments like Rune piercing capabilities, subject english, supreme fire aspect etc. that will increase your damage significantly. 7:36 Also there's another rare bauble called the antidote vessel which can be used if you don't want to use silver armour as it limits any debuffs you get to a max tier of 2.

The pike was by no means supposed to be maxed, its just an example unmaxed weapon I made with the loot I had at that point in the game. My point here was that you don't need to wait until you max absolutely everything to enter if you already have an idea of what to expect. And as for the antidote bauble, I agree it is really good and did actually touch on that in the neptunium/golem armor section, but again, it isn't necassary if you already know what to expect, especially because of how long and how many layers of rng it takes to get. The wiki even states that RLArtifacts are meant to be an easter egg never meant to be sought after and used normally, so I would never reccomend the grind myself despite its uses. Librarians are already enough of a pain...

It's a shame that Shivaxi nerfed the parasite armors into oblivion. They're merely a novelty and not worth getting, in my opinion. It's just not worth the effort.

Yeah, its unfortunate for sure, but honestly the type of armor you use end-game is pretty much just cosmetic for the most part apart from being in LC, so I like crafting it anyways. And you can get that sick darkling damage reduction on your head XD

What does luck magnification do?

It gives you the "luck" potion effect for weilding the tool the enchantment is on. Luck basically just gives better loot rolls to chests and mob drops, so pretty handy.

Why prot 4 not adv prot 4?

Adv prot 4 is always reccomended, but honestly armor durability pretty much always runs out before your health does, so prot 4 does the trick. That's primarily a tip for silver armor though, other armors like golem and neptunium get more out of advanced prot 4 since you might actually run out of hp before they break.

please get advaned prot before going to the lost cities

Not really needed, as if your wearing silver the armor's gonna break in most cases faster then your health hits 0. Resistance 3 on the other hand its pretty vital in silver armor LC mobs slaying runs since the damage reduction there is applied before durability damage. To put it in perspective: Prot 4 = 64% dmg reduction Adv prot 4 = 80% damage reduction

With this version being more difficult, you should use advanced protection, advanced mending, and unbreaking IV. This will make the Lost Cities much easier.@@Calebrune3
