I'm glad you noticed! Sometimes you just have to get a little creative with what you have on hand.

Another option for yarn is a sport-weight wool yarn--it's still 4-ply but not as thick as worsted weight/tapestry

Just getting back into needlepoint. One recommendation for your videos; use a contrasting background to the color of your thread. I think it will be easier to see what you’re doing.
