a nice way of finding out the name for the second part of the names is this: if the last element has a number that is 3 or less than 3, its going to have the suffix -ide (eg. Nh3 - hydrogen nitride) if the last element has a number that is 3 or more, its going to have the suffix -ate (e.g H2SO4 - hydrogen sulfate) CuSo4- magnesium sulphate Ca0- calcium oxide NH4NO3- ammonium nitrate KOH - pottasium hydroxide

I learned more in a 13 minute video than my professor has been teaching in four weeks
I was confused by this video but otherwise, it helped a lot, this guy has helped me with a lot of my chemistry work. I would definitely recommend this channel to anyone struggling with chemistry like I am.
you are just born to be a teacher mate!! Much love
Spent a good 30 minutes on this video working through each problem and it’s perfect that you pause and I solve it and then you solve it and I check my mistakes and you explain the problem as you work. Thanks 🙏
Bro taught me me what I haven’t been able to understand in a week in 13 min
this man explains the topic like a friend would the day before a test and it somehow all clicks
Bro teaches me in 1 hour of watch his videos what my teacher has been trying to teach me for four weeks this guy need a raise
I have mid exam for college after 2 weeks and i was lost After your videos it’s been very easy to figure out everything And I don’t need to speak 100% to understand you Your English is so clear and i can understand everything THANK U Pray for me
I wish I found your videos in the very beginning of my semester you are very helpful!!!! I wish I had you as my teacher instead 👌🏽💯
Studying part-time with full time job. I am understanding Chemistry for the first time all because of your videos. Thank you for your service to humanity brother. It is much appreciated. You are doing a stellar job. God Bless.
Thank you for explaining this the way you do! It makes things much easier to understand after watching your videos!
This dude taught me to do this in 13 minutes when I sat in lecture for an hour and a half and couldn’t grasp a thing, thank you for the good work.
My students speak highly of your videos. Great job! One note: The transition metals ions should *not* have a space before the parentheses. So the names should be iron(III) chloride copper(I) bromide and so on.
Thank you so so so much. I have a massive chem test tomorrow and I was so worried that i was going to fail, but now i actually understand how this works. Thank you!!!
this guy taught me more about chemistry in 15 minutes than my teacher did in six hours
Thank you so so so so so much! I’ve been struggling A LOT in Honors Chemistry and I could not figure out how to do this for the life of me. Thank you so much for making this video and helping me out to prepare for my Bonds test on Tuesday!!!!
The videos you post are very helpful. I appreciate the detail in the videos and the explanations. THANK YOU!
Finally I know how to name compound's Sir u are sure a great teacher I can't express my joy
This video was amazing! Clear and simple compared to what my professor be explaining in lecture

Man, I wish my teacher had in-depth complicated, lectures. She's good at teaching us the basics and I know we as a class have to move quickly, but some of the details she leaves out make the subject a lot more confusing as I'm not the type of guy to "just" memorize the stuff given.

probably because the lecture goes into detail as to why these compounds happen. This video however explains just how to do it not why it happens AND how to do it.

U are honestly such a good teacher, like I learn from YOU more than my teacher. She sucks at teaching tbh. Like it feels like I'm getting private tutor lessons for free.
Professor Organic Chemistry Tutor, thank you for a fantastic video/lecture on How to Name Ionic Compounds with Transition Metals in AP/General Chemistry. Knowing the difference between Cations and Anions is important when naming Ionic Compounds with Transition Metals. This is an error free video/lecture on KZread TV with the Organic Chemistry Tutor.
Amazing fully understood thanx sir .🙏🏻
my guy knows math gemoetry and somehow chemistry, u literally help a lot thanks
Finally understood how this goes! Thank you so much! It's a really big helpp
You have saved me sooooo many times ! Thank you so much. I like your voice alot !
Thank you very much for your presence. You understand very well this penalty and may God bless you ♥♥👌
look up the t43 method if you are having trouble memorizing polyatomic ions. its essentially just more stuff to remember but i found it easier then just brute forcing a bunch on polyatomic ions
Im in 9th grade and i really need it for our advanced chemistry period thank you
bro you just taught me everything we've worked on for a week in 15 minutes
This is exactly what I needed to understand chemistry. Thanks a lot ✨✨
bro I love you srsly you're saving my butt in calculus and chemistry
This is what I call 'game changer' and 'life saver content' ! Ik it's 5yrs old ... But thx
You helped me a lot with chemistry thank you so much!!
I like how you have a video on anything chemistry related I need
Dude amazing job I was trying so hard to figure it out but you just solved my problem. I have a quiz time wish me luck!! Thank you again!
Love how he reviewed the roman numerals, omg.
Thanks for covering over transition metals in naming. your clutch
This guy diserve award, thank you so much
Thanks for making this video, it really helps. bcoz i didn't understand when my teacher explained it to me. TYSMMMM
You are a wonderful teacher in the world.keep up the good work
God bless you so much! Your videos are soooo helpful!
I’m taking chemistry this summer and I don’t understand anything our teacher explains so I’m teaching myself. your videos help so much. I paid for a class that I learn nothing from. Learned lesson: Do not take a class with a professor that most students wrote bad reviews about. I took the risk because there was no another option for this semester and I’m regretting it.

I need help i dont understand one thing for example at 12:33 so lead has a positive 4 charge and Sulphate has a -2 charge so how do i know which charge should i write in roman numeral IK he told the answer but generally how do I choose
Thanks, cleared alot up.
This explained it way better than my $100 textbook + the 2 hour long lecture GEEZZ 😭😭😭
You are just the best teacher
12:55 but what if it Lead is replaced with an atom with a plus 2 charge (example) would that cancel out or am I about to fail this test
Video was so great i liked it 6 times
How do you know what the charges are of the anion?
thank you so much for your help!
