Smart idea. I'm going to order some siding clips and install the cameras these way until I decide on permanent spots for them, that way they can at least get used.

Once it clicks into place how do you take it back off? You would think "just unscrew the security screw then turn counter clockwise" but it don't turn. Is there a trick to removing it from the mount once its clicked into place?

Just ordered the same clips for my arlo 4 as well, how well do these hold up? Any wiggle after installation? I’m feeling iffy about them like if someone can just pull it off your sidings or something. Also dont want to drill into my sidings.

Can this approach also be used for the solar panel to charge the Arlo camera as well?

I'm trying to find how to take the camera off the ball thing ...

My question is are these really theft proof?

Thanks. I really didn't want to drill into my siding so they've been sitting in the box for a few months. Just ordered these. BUT I don't see those round pieces that you screwed into the siding hooks in the box. Did all 3 of yours come with them or you ordered separately? Or maybe you bought a single pack and it came with it? Dunno but I feel like I'm missing stuff.

Hello, LilBits! The white round pieces are the wall plates and they typically come with the system. They are usually attached to the back of the mount. If yours didn't come with the wall plate you might have to order them separately. Good luck!
