The problem is these are EXPERTS with tons of experience doing it. It’s not really starting from zero, Itd be like a lifetime body builder walk into a new gym and say “after only 28 days of working out I can bench 400 lbs and you can too!” It’s true… but not completely true. If someone achieved it, it was more probable to be either luck or an intense crashcourse in learning/trial and error and TONS of hard work

This is so true. Another thing to consider is mindset. An expert knows what they are doing and trust in the quality of content that they can output. A new KZreadr who's just starting out wouldn't know what works and what doesn't and would probably spend a lot of time on self doubt and perfectionism.

I've seen channels that started from zero do this though. Because they studied KZread to become an expert. I definitely understand with bodybuilding and such because your body remembers the training you did in the past, so you can easily reach that goal again. However with something that simply requires knowledge and execution, it's a different story, especially if you can make a KZread channel for free.
@TheFreshSoundsFlorida

I have to disagree with that because, I'm not an expert but I've managed to monetize a second channel with the things I've learned from previous experience and knowledge. That's all. Also you have to do a lot research on the niche you're going into
This "How to Monetize a New KZread Channel in Just 28 Days" video likely suffers from overpromising and underdelivering. While achieving monetization within a month is technically possible, it's incredibly difficult and misleading to set that as the standard expectation. The video probably focuses on viral content strategies and chasing trends, rather than emphasizing the importance of long-term dedication, building a loyal audience, and understanding that consistent quality content is what leads to sustainable success on KZread. Additionally, the 28-day timeframe creates a false sense of urgency that may encourage rushed, low-quality work rather than focusing on the value a new channel can provide.

Awesome video. I am small KZreadr, and I think that for small channels the most important thing is to get good presence from the beginning. If you are not popular, people won't care even if you have the best videos and the best content on platform. I am not beginner anymore, but I know how hard it can be (and honestly if I didn't use a lot of Fame- ster, I would have quit a long time ago. well there hope for me then, maybe i can learn this stuff and make my channel more popular. i have no plans on it only taking 28 days but in a resonable amount of time would be good. i think theres an assumption that people know lots about editing and stuff - maybe its just the generational thing younger generations grow up with this stuff - older generations have to learn it - it slows the creating videos part down lol. your videos are very informative and make things appear achievable for anyone. :) inspiring.

@vidIQ I would state that pretty privilege is a thing, but (knowing this by having a beautiful family friend) it's also a curse. At least KZreadrs without it know that they're appreciated for their content and who they are. Authenticity seems to be the thing we're all seeking of late (I've even found myself skipping past intro hooks (too contrived)). I don't think that being introverted is a bad thing on YT. I do think that us less suggestive and pretty folk take a longer route, but that it has more sustainable potential.

@@crazycornishcrafter Naw it's not that, people have the attention spans of a carrot, and most creators only make content for money, thus content that appeals to people's pee brains will always win out. and minorities, chicks, and people who make the simpletons feel like it's okay to live their lifestyle instead of becoming more, will always have an advantage... Luckily, that can easily be exploited as I will be doing on my other channels. Source: People would rather give me 100k views on memes then support me cleaning up H-needles on kid's walking trails, rather watch some shirtless bimbo instead of me teaching kids to adventure and become good members of society.... Yeah, cool advices again and again from you, guys! Thanks for that, now I'm struggling on my first month of Monetization!
It took me 6 years of regular uploads to get monetised a year later my sub count increased by 1300 for me that’s massive a total of 2300. Thing is my view count is generally well below the sub count I know this is because a few vids went well with a different audience of which I can’t tap into anymore they were specific events. I think the tips in this video are valid I am thinking of starting a separate channel based around one aspect of what I do see if that takes 28 days or 72 months to monetise. Good luck to all creators out there
if you're reading this right now, there's no better time than now. Don't think its not gonna work cuz it will, you just need to unleash that inner artist and be consistent. It will work out for you!
All i wanted to know is how to set it up? I know you need viewers and subscriber, but do i need to do anything to set it up? Set up a paypal, change anything on the channel settings?
I'm at the beginning of the journey with first channel and I don't expect to hit 1k subsribers so fast but still... I'm watching these type of videos, I understand them but can't neccesarilly take the advice and apply it for my content. So I'm starting to analyse if the problem lies with my lack of creativity or what. There is a lot of confussion at the start but I hope that it will get better.

So you can have a channel based off one video game say call of duty for example. If you add other games to that channel does it still count towards monetizing your channel. Some people don’t like to show their face on their content would that be a problem with guidelines. You can do whatever you want but in my experience it's harder for people coming to your channel to subscribe because they don't care about all the content you're posting. By focusing on one niche they come to your channel and know what they are getting so they sub and watch more videos. It's also harder to create enough videos of one type for people to watch more. For example, if someone comes to your channel for movie reviews but you only do one every six months because you're trying to do a bunch of other stuff in between, people won't sub because they are there for a specific thing.

Why doesn't Vid IQ have an answer?
Lots of dense info. Thanks.
If I am not keeping the live streams on my channel, would their watch hours count towards the 4000?
I feel like my topics are good, but how do I increase my watch time? My videos range between 5 min to 15 min but my average watch time is only like 2 minutes.
Couple of things….people are too focused on monetizing, to an unhealthy obsession level; creating a channel for the sake of making money is not it. Creating a channel and content about something you’re passionate about reflects positively in your content while the former reflects negatively….your audience feels that passion of lack of. Stop putting too much emphasis in production. Overproduction comes across as disingenuous and “shilly”. I want to know that the person making the video about whatever is honest about their opinion and upfront about their intentions - whether they were sent the product or otherwise. It also needs to be original, no just a scripted advertisement…if it is, be honest. If a company doesn’t want your honest opinion, tell em to kick rocks; operate with integrity. I’d rather watch John/Ginny in their home (that looks like a normal home, not a studio) recording on reasonably affordable equipment as opposed to the same person that looks like their content was shot using Hollywood level AV equipment. I know plenty of creators with over 100k subs and all they’ve used is an iPhone and some cheap microphone. The substance of the content matters most. Remember to have FUN. This isn’t supposed to have a negative impact on your life or take away from your regular job and/family. Look at Todd from Project Farm. For the last several years he’s only posted 1 video per week. He’s honest, unbiased as possible, doesn’t advertise for companies and takes no money from them. He is successful for that reason, not because he accepts money from whatever company comes knocking, overproducing content or cranking out content every day or every other day. Keep your heads up and remember why you started doing this. 🍻
Love yours and Frightened Irish vids ❤
Consistency and Finding your Audience is the watch word
