This is beautiful, you've given us hope on how to style our short hair. It's sad that some salons can't even give you this look it's a struggle to find a hair dresser who can style short hair.

It’s mostly depend on products and how you sleep, try wrap with a mesh Velcro wrap and then satin scarf on top or durag

No you do not wash off the mold, the point is to straighten your hair in a shape you wanna style it in

You can always apply oil on top to loosen it but the ORS mousse is not the best tbh
