    At 0:30 it's a good idea to go into Tools>Polygoups and next to the [Group Masked] button, bring up the [Polish Grouped Polygons] slider all the way up before making the polygroup. This will make for the cleanest edge possible.

    I didn't understand at 0:46. I turned off the Symmetri with CurveBridge but the final line wasn't clear like here. I'm working on ZBrush 2021.7.1, can be a bug?

    My God, how do you make the skirt stay open underneath? that way when I give dynamash she covers the hole, I can not find this anywhere

    what about the folds D:

  • @m4r_art
    @m4r_art6 жыл бұрын

    You're left with a capped shape though. You probably have to uncap the bottom side. (Lol now that i think what i am saying) Anyways, which deformer would you use to thicken the cloth as a next step? Like most intuitively? I tend to go for z modeler and try to extrude or qmesh, and that seems like a compulsive idea but it seems like it usually works. So i usually end up telling people, "hey I'd q-mesh that" which ends the conversation in a funny manner :D

    Could run a polygroup by normal and delete the top and bottom caps then thicken the mesh. Though I wonder if there is a way to set the bridge function to remain uncapped?

  • @m4r_art

    I was thinking like maybe bridge an inflated clone also possible

    I'll respond better when I'm at my machine but you should not have cap when you delete hidden the second time

  • @DannyMac3d

    Yea so 0:53 is where you get rid of the cap, and I explain adding thickness in this really old tutorial :) kzread.info/dash/bejne/h5yKureYncvIitI.html (essentially I do it the same as you)

    Thanks Danny! I had another go at watching the ending and saw what you meant. So no need to worry about deleting caps, M4R

    important addition: TURN OFF the symmetry, otherwise CurveBridge will not work correctly and mesh get screwed.
