bro i literally can never figure out how to mod spiderman games any other game is easy but this video fr helped, I modded the game

NOTE: A New Tool was released that can install BOTH smpcmods and Suit Files. It's called Overstrike in Nexus and it's much easier to use than the two tools in this video. I myself still use these old tools since I make Mods but if you just want to install some mods then Overstrike is much easier.

For anyone that's stuck on the asset archive when you click on the asset archive in the SMPCTool, click extract all then when it tells you to select a file your gonna wanna go to the files that you opened for the game and click on the first file(Asset Archives Dir) then you should be able to access the PC Tool.

Bro this helped me out so much.. I was following one before that didnt specify that I needed to extract the mod itself... I was stuck on that part for an hour thinking I was doing smth wrong..

Every time I try to open the mod tool it tells me to select asset archive folder, and when I select a folder it tells me that the Table of Contents file is missing

Delete toc.bak (or .bok,idk which is right spelling) if that doesnt work, select toc instead of asset archive

It does not add the suits, I drag the suit to the suit adder but the thing that is supposed to ask me to click any key to escape just flashes on screen instead, pls help

the mods are fine and all, but i cant get more than 4 custom suits into the game for some reason. like i got a suit pack which includes 12 suits and it only give me 4 of them when i put all of them to the suit tool can someone help me???

At 3:41 you say click asset archive and click accept or ok. I don’t get any option for that, it just opens the folder if I double click or nothing if I single click. I’m new to PC and modding 😅

The gameplay mods worked, but I did what you said to add the suit mods, yet when I started playing it, NONE of them popped up, I added the suit adding tool as well., so they should have their own slots. What am I doing wrong?

Where do I place or use the asset folder for? It won’t give an option for me to hit select, next or accept? Please help me man!

im having an issue when i install more than one mod is bugs tf out and then i dont have any modded suits, its like i need to pick one and keep with that one then change it outside of the game, it dosent add more than one suit in the suits tab

When I hit "Mod Manager" and hit Add and go to the file with my mods in it, the file for the mods don't show up. Any ideas how to fix?

fr only one is installed i cant install others

trying to install a new suit mod. (I am tech stupid, so be forgiving as I try to explain) I follow every instruction, download the file. But when I try to drop the file into the suit adding tool, it opens up a page asking me to select a file. From there, I can do nothing to help this and I have to close out everything. What the hell am I doing wrong?

The Tool won't show that menu for me because it says the tool is already running , how do I fix this ?

Just leaving this here for people who had the same problem I had, if when choosing the asset archive it says "toc file missing" scroll down and there is a file called "toc" and a file called "toc.BAK". Delete the one called "toc.BAK"

it says the suit is not compatible with this version of the game or this version of this tool (Miles morales)
