Glass casting is easy using our pre-mixed plaster blends. This video demonstrates the most common mixing method. Sift the plaster for a more even mix. Always wear a dust mask and suitable gloves when mixing plaster.
The hand shape shown in this video is made of wax which is then melted out using steam to create the space for the glass to be cast into. This is the 'lost wax' casting technique. See our Knowledge Base for more details.
