How to Mix Thinset Mortar for Beginners. Quick and Easy!!

Why spend more money for pre-mix when you can buy it for almost half the price in powder form and mix it yourself. I'm no tile expert but doing it this way has not failed me yet. Enjoy the video!

You forgot to let it slake for at least 5 minutes, then mix again for a couple of minutes. 👍

Good point. I did but mistakenly left that part
Instead of spinning the stuff off you can the tap the mixing paddle bit horizontally on the side of the bucket and almost all the thinset will drop back down. Then do your water cleaning method. You can also use your sponge to get the last bit of cleaning done and then your bit is good as new again.
