Love your decorating ideas, I’d actually have you come into my home and have free run with decorating it however you like, I’d move out for the period of time and come back when it’s all completed, that’s how much I love what you do, I’ve implemented some of your ideas into my home as much as I can with limited access to stores that are available to me here in Australia 🇦🇺. 🥰🥰

My first foray into living with less was cleaning clutter because of toddler - 29 years ago - lol. I’ve been through a few design inspirations - for reference I’m 65 but starting out on very low budgets I always looked for simple classics that have proven to have longevity. We lead very busy lives and my guiding words for decorating and life are “simple, casual, elegant”. Love your channel and your style.

Already bought the first cashmere cuddle dreams throw. It looks just like the one at pottery barn but cheaper and so incredibly soft and snuggly. Going to buy this one as well. I agree with quantity over quality, which is why I don’t like dupes. I’d rather wait until I can afford something then buy a cheap knockoff, which don’t look as good and last as long. When I’ve bought knockoff I never was happy and end up buying the original that I really wanted.

She loves her color palette in her own home. It’s what she loves. Just as you probably love your color palette in your own home right? We all have different tastes in colors and how they make us feel. She’s said several times black/grey makes her feel joy but she also says to choose the color way that makes you feel joy. 🥰

They actually do hang out on the white sofas in the family room a lot. She shows a vid where she goes picking up and freshening the space up after. There's dog toys, snacks, squished pillows etc :)

Valentina specifically said, “I think limiting your color palette limits the busyness of your space.” She even talked about this topic quite a bit in this video, starting when she was talking about how she uses white to bring attention to architectural details and dark colors to hide them. She has another video that focuses on choosing sophisticated color palettes, but she also isn’t telling everyone else to not use color. Having just moved into a new space that is unlike any other I’ve lived in, I’m seeing how the space you live in can influence the direction you go with styling. Some items I love just don’t spark the same joy in my new space.

Beam powder contains melatonin, wich is the main ingredient in the beam powder that helps you go to sleep. There is nothing wrong with using melatonin, but melatonin isnt a vitamin, its a hormone. Everyone who uses beam should be aware of this, so please correct this information so your followers dont go around thinking its only vitamins. Actually beam powder dosnt contain vitamins at all, it contains melatonin, magnesium (wich is a mineral) and L-Theanine (wich is a amino acid) plus a reishi mushroom that is goos for the imunsystem an contains alot of anti oxidants. There no vitamins at all.

I have a similar style. I am loving some of the changes I’m making though… with your help. I actually just purchased this white couch and an ottoman from ‘Article’ (got it yesterday). I’ve gotten rid of some things and added others. Thanks for your visuals. They e helped me tremendously!🥰☺️😉.
