It's really hard to find never heard before study technique and you'd usually always hear people repeat the same tips over and over again like ok know what kind of learner you are, revise consistently, dont revise last minute etc. BUT THIS, is actually new and I wonder why i've never thought of revising this way. My final exam is coming soom so I'm definitely going to use these techniques.

Wonderful tip! I started using this in university last year when I wanted to simulate the type of revision I would do during A Levels with past papers. I would like to add: The more application based questions you make, the greater the concept will stick although that usually takes much more time so in most courses I stick with the basic who what why framework.

Uhh you do realize that you’re skimming through your book right? Or maybe thats how everyone does it, What I do is memorize sentence then sentence (or two sentences depends on how short each sentence is) and I start reading it again and again for 10-25 times or until I can confidently say the whole thing. And when your done just say all the sentences together then after that I write the whole thing down on a piece of paper I usually get a used notebook that still has 50 white pages left or something like that. l do skip the last step sometimes because I get lazy.😅 Hope I didn’t offend your way of memorizing you don’t have to use my way of course if you don’t want to.

Same, i feel you ❤️. I wish I could have photogenic memory 😭. But I don't. So I am doomed. But I like to try what Faye told us to do. In 6th grade I made a chapter test of my own and answered and also corrected it. So by that time, I knew which answer I knew and didn't know. And then I kept writing the answering the question over and over again using a whiteboard and then when i finally felt confident- I answered it orally. And I guess it worked. I did remember stuff. I don't know whether it still works or not. (Because I haven't done it in a long time) but maybe faye's way of studying- highlighting and writing down mind map/flow charts works. So I think we should all try it. Sorry for the long essay. Btw

This is a way I take notes, which I think help me a lot (I. figured this out after watching some of your videos!) 1. I write the title of the chapter of my textbook, then I write the date in my notebook. 2. I draw a column on the far left of the page (I only do this for history) 3. Then I get out a fresh piece of paper and write questions at the top. 4. then I read the chapter of my textbook, and during reading I write questions on my question page, then highlight the answers in my textbook! 5. Once I finish reading the chapter, I shut my text book and write down the answers to my questions in my notebook! 6. then I glue in my questions at the bottom of the page (folded up). 7. Finally I begin looking back at the questions and answer them, checking my answers (notes)!!! Thank you soooo much Faye!!! I love you videos! And I do admit that I watch your videos when I procrastinate(but not all the time!)!!!! Happy Studying!!! :D

What I like to do is use this method in my notes. So when I'm in a lesson, if I hear some important concept, definiton or process (equations, mitosis, things like that) and write a question an examiner would ask in the margin (eg: Define Osmosis). Then I write the answer on the right side of the mitosis so from the begining you're already thinking like an examiner and have review material to practice active recall with (via covering the answers).

I would suggest u all to start doing it as soon as you can since doing this is a little time taking but it is highly worth it . 3. Revise them weekly or daily(if possible) to get acquainted and feel more confident . Hope this helps thnku ❤️

Thank you for sharing your knowledge ^^ But if you don't mind me asking, may I ask what do you mean by "essay templates" in 5:09? May i ask when is the time you usually spent to do all your notes? Like to fill out all of the ask & answer might take few amount of time. You see, i don’t know how to divide all of my works equally, i need to spare a lot of times just to do my addmath homework, which makes me ignored all the other subjects 😞. When i want to notes, like studying, it also need a lot of times 🤔. To complete homework and studying simultaneously makes me goes to bed really late and end up not get an enough sleep. I’m sorry if my questions is too long, but i need help because i have SPM this year 😌

My school reduces our marks based on our handwriting too- My handwriting is kinda bad ngl but it's totally readable, I improved my hand writing a bit but there is one girl in my school with rlly nice handwriting and our teacher only appreciates her and she (the girl) always trys to find mistake in my exam answer sheet to make my marks less, and ones I spelled a thing right but she thought it was a different word so she told our teacher and she cut one mark, I am like bruh- I left the school, becuz I was getting bullied there, my bff and I are in a new school now :)
