I thought you'd show the difference in result between the TDS meter and the titration 😞
If all I care about is water spots on a car after rinsing (and incomplete drying), would TDS actually be the more relevant measurement?

That is correct. TDS is what can leave spots on your car after the water dries. Hardness is the worst part of the TDS for spotting but there are other things left behind as well
