Girl here! Love doing this kind of work, but have little knowledge of some of the tricks. This was incredibly helpful!

I know how to do flooring but this is best video cut an dry no fake stupid music like someone else commented I very rarely leave a comment but I couldn't help myself after watching this no fancy words trying to act like everybody's the best of what they're doing this guy's the man

Installing flooring didn’t look so bad until I saw all the angles in our hallway! This helped me feel so much more confident about tackling the project!

Thanks so much for this visual and clear explanation. I have angled cuts on one side of the kitchen and this helps tremendously to know how to keep the tiles aligned properly while also making those angles fit smoothly.

Excellent and simple way of explaining the process. You blow away all the other guys trying to teach the process here on KZread.

Literally by the time this video hit the 1:00 mark, this video effectively taught me how to do this. The internet needs more of this.

Life saver. Putting down this new floor is going to be a lot easier. This info extrapolates to bigger boards too. Using it on the 4x8 boards I'm putting down first. Perfect angels on all my boards thanks to this video.

I know the original flooring I took out, was done prior to installing all the fixtures and cabinets. Now I know how to measure my vinyl planks correctly. Thanks again.

I typically lay the flooring beside the other and butt it to the wall then measure the gap between the wall . But this a great as well

@@FloorsbySouthernboys My last plank needs to be cut length ways as it is too wide for the gap. The problem is is that the wall is slanting so the gap varies from 0 to 4". I am sure there is a way to use the plank you intend to cut along with another plank to get the exact angle but, for the life of me, I can't remember how to do it. It's very simple but .... can you help to jog my memory lapse please??

Richenda Carter Easiest way to do it is just measure and mark both ends of your plank and then run a straight edge on it and make your cut
