Go to Mexico and you’ll see the variety, that and not all boots are made for work some are specifically made to go out clubbing and dancing .

No real boot maker would use caiman.. the skins are not tanned correctly and split easily.. garbage. American black alligator is the skin to use but most won't pay for. So they buy inferior caimans. You won't find a boot maker with a reputation using garbage. I've been a leather crafter for 15 years and would only use cayman on a picture frame on picture frame or maybe knife sheath as inlay.. nothing that moves or flexes like boots.
