Dear Dr Griggs thank you again for acreally useful video. Looking back from the time of finding a lump in my breast in November 2021 to approaching the end of my treatment by starting my 5th cycle of chemotherapy, the biggest experience of stress for me was around decisions making. Although medical professionals were really clear in their communications, my mind and Googling habits took me me into many rabbit roles. It's when turning to friends and family members that I was able stop myself from overreacting to my states of confusion. For example, in August 2021 I thought my treatment would end until the result of genomic assay indicated that chemotherapy would reduce a risk of recurrence from 33% to 15%, but when that was announced, I was also told "but you don't have to go through chemo if you don't want to". That's when I started to build endless lists of questions for the oncologist appointment, which I shared with my Dad before going to the appointment!! And his response completely reassured me he said: "the oncologist will not answer all these questions, because, these days, the treatments and decisions are based on evidence medicine not scientific conjectures". So the oncology appointment was better used in asking about ways to manage chemotherapy. Chemotherapy therapy feels harder for me than the mastectomy and lymph node clearance operations I had in the summer, but the advice to keep active physically and mentally is stress busting for me during that time. I'm able to work from home and although the PICC line stops me from my doing my morning yoga routine, I'm replacing it with a walk among the trees, looking at the winter dawn rising in the park.

Those rabbit holes are so tempting! You are not alone there. So happy to read about your time with the trees during your treatment. Wishing you the absolute best.

Dr. Jennifer thank you I will write things down. Guys it has helped me to keep myself busy. At the moment I can't work because all my chemotherapy has affected me so much, but I wanted to keep myself focused and I decided to study psychology. It really keeps me going. In the mind time I can't move too much.

What is the 2nd phase trial report of Dosterlimab people want it ....

Thanks for the question. Receiving dosterlimab is only given to people whose cancers are advanced (spread to other parts of the body) that are mismatch repair-deficient. To receive this medication, the cancer must also have continued to grow after other treatment. Talking with your medical team about whether or not this is appropriate in your case would be the next step.
