Thank you so much for this. Sometimes we know these things in the back of our heads, but don't act on it due to fear that it's not the best way to do things. In reality, you will never get more done by spreading yourself thin, and multi-tasking. Splitting tasks by priority and focusing on them 1 by 1 is always the way to go. Always affirming hearing it out loud sometimes. Time to crack on.

This is tough love and spitting facts in the most tactful and empowering way ever. You've definitely got a skill because you're lowkey telling me, my feelings stem from my own thoughts and may or may not even be a true reflection of reality just a reflection of my thoughts. I should be offended but instead I want to hear more. Thank you ma'am!

Interesting perspective, despite all my planning ahead it still feels stressful and overwhelming. I never thought of it as a conscious choice me make. Our bodies just responds as it does but this challenges us to make a choice how we want to feel. That is empowering for sure.

Thank you. I'm completely buried by stress (at home) dealing with solicitors & medical reports because I've been seriously injured in a major head-on car crash 2 years ago & trying to get compensation for my dad & me. I can't cope & I end up shutting down nearly every day. I can't take a break as I need to get a report done by tomorrow, my solicitor has already given me a lot of time.

What?? Overwhelm is our own fault? Is it someone’s fault if their boss gives them a task then gives another and another and so on, then keeps asking if each of them is done yet in an unrealistically short time? Tasks keep piling on as well as distractions to work on other things. Sure people want to feel calm but what if someone continuously piles pressure on all day every day and when challenged about the load, looking for solutions, says it’s down to poor planning. This is not so simple to fix!
