Thank you! I have a PRx Pro rack. I got everything like you said and it worked. My feedback: The large carabiner did not fit. Luckily I had a bigger one in my toolbox. I made one long cable like you did and it worked but the problem now is I won’t be able to use my PRx pulley for high pulley exercises bc I am using that pulley for this new one I made. So what I did was made a shorter cable about 56”-57” long and I connect it to my PRx high pulley to make it longer when I want to do low pulley exercises and I connect it to the lowest part of my rack. Anyways, works great thank you for the tutorial.

Just wondering how it's been holding up after 3 years? I'm looking for an inexpensive DIY to do exercises that require cables at mid height too such as reverse flies for rear delts. The anchor point has to be above the shoulder so I foresee some issues of the pulley not being able to keep the cable in the gear.

This may be an obvious answer, but your cable length, is that basically just for mid-level but can it work if you put your carabiner at the bottom of your rack, or will you need to have another cable to be for just above ground pulls? I bought a cable pulley system off Amazon similar to yours, but I would like to do mid range and low pulls or rows as well and your DYI seems simple enough I could probably do it myself without my husband's help - well, maybe I'll need his help for cutting the wire, but we have a special tool for that already. Thanks in advanced.

@@MattLaneFitness Thanks. I’ve ordered everything I need, I hope. But I’m going to be using wire ferrules instead of the clamps. Cleaner look and fewer chances of me snagging my clothing or skin on the clamps. I’m going to do a dual pulley system similar to your system so I can do crossovers at any height. Your DYI system is simple, yet it looks very effective. Love it!!!

As a fellow PRx owner, I've been wondering about this as a solution, so thanks for the demonstration! Quick question - with the carabiner moving the entire load to one leg, have you noticed any uneven side-to-side wear or "racking" occurring with the PRx rack? That's what's kept me from engineering something similar to this.

How is this holding up since the video? Those pulleys are way too small in diameter and it will cause the cable to fray over time. You want one that's at least 3" and, if possible, to run the cable through at least two of them so that it doesn't have to make such sharp bends.
