adding too much bass to your mic doesn't make you sound clearer, it's actually grating

yea when your going for the most clear sound it usually is with less bass and more treble odd right

adding more bass to a cheap wireless mic makes it sound like a more expensive microphone... i agree tho that there is a bit too much bass

Use an Audio Maximizer, some compression and an EQ scoop the mids to about 3.5db from 400hz to 3khz and then put a slight peak around 5-10khz and a slight peak around 50-100hz only about 2.5db to 4db max and this will give your voice a broadcaster style timber and dynamic. set the compressor's attack and release times to about 2-5ms this will stop any transients clipping. also invest in a microphone capable to producing the quality the road Nt1a is pretty good very bright tone, the AKG C2000, the Audio Tecknika at4040. Also it would be worth investing in an audio interface like the Focusrite scarlet 2, this will be able to produce the 48v the microphone would require and have plenty of gain and a clean preamp too its a win win! also In regards to this video where he increased the sample rate to 48k, you won't hear the difference between 44100 and 48000 its your bit rate that holds the quality so anything above 16bit will be clean preferably 24bit audio at 44100 will sound good which is the industry standard for recording studios when the produce music professionally.

hope I'm not to late but this should help go to the sound menu on control panel (on windows 10 you should be able to search up "sound" in the start menu) then locate the "VoiceMeeter Output" on the recordings tab. the sound menu by default will open in the playback tab so just switch to the recording tab then right click the voicemeeter output option then choose "Set as default device". every application will now us the voicemeeter output as your microphone the only way your screwed now is that u have to have voicemeeter on whenever you plan to talk. If for a while u don't want to have voicemeeter open u will have to change your default device back to your normal microphone device.
