I have a question. When we make chords inversion, the bass note of each chords change or we keep the root note of the basic chords?

So when you make a chord inversion you have a variety of different voicing options and can spread each note to your liking. So let's say you have c major starting in its standard voicing on c4 or middle c on your piano your notes played would be c4 e4 and g4. You can then change the voicing to c5 e4 g4 or if you wanted c4 e3 g5 or any octave combinations spreading them as much as you want and still have a c major chord. Play with the voicing on your notes for a single chord in a plain stock piano and see how it alters the sound. You'll hear it keeps a lot of the characteristics of the original chord but can take on many different characteristics and sounds depending on where you play the notes but you'll always have c major. Hope this helps.
