How to make your computer faster

Yes, you can see this when I clean up the laptop and tweaked somethings it increased start up time by 27 seconds. Having more than 4GB RAM isn't really going to make your computer faster, it will though improve multitasking and video editing. If you want to increase the speed of opening up programs and start up windows the best solution would be to buy a SSD it will make a huge difference.
i tested it and when running crysis 2 Triple buffering actually made it much smoother
seriously this is sick!
Tripple buffering on a low card like a GT 640 will cause it to slow down, the graphics card has to work harder and also use more VRAM. Tripple buffering can cause input lag too. If it was a medium/high end card then it doesn't have much problems.
ive been getting use to the Nvidia control panels tools with tripple buffering trying to tweek as much as possible

Your saystem seems pretty decent, you should definetly try cleaning and tweaking you windows. :)
That's not bad. If you have an SSD you could start up in 30 seconds or so depending on your system. What kind of hardware do you have?

it was either the 640 gt 1gb or the 6670 radeon 2gb but 1gb is good enough for 1 monitor.
try tuneup utilities 2012....

Nvidia control panel? That is only used for your graphics card, tripple buffering will not speed up anything. If you game on you PC a lot that may degrade you gaming experience, especially with a budget graphics card GT 640.
