This helped me so much so I looked up to see what they meant and I found this for anyone wondering; RFA 1 - DIC display. (Default) The parking lights will flash when you press the lock and unlock buttons on the remote keyless entry transmitter. RFA 2 - DIC display. The parking lights will flash when you press the lock and unlock buttons on the remote keyless entry transmitter and the horn will chirp when the lock button is pressed. RFA 3 - DIC display. The parking lights will flash and the horn will chirp when you press the lock and unlock buttons on the transmitter. RFA 4 - DIC display. There is no feedback when you press the lock and unlock buttons on the remote keyless entry transmitter. This means no flashing lights or horn chip at all when locking vehicle.

glad I could help. I have bought a 2005 canyon now and mine is giving me this problem. It starts than in like 5-8 seconds it dies. It starts right up but than it dies after it has started puttering, again no cluster lights like check engine or security lite have you ever had that problem?

Dealership or locksmith. Chevy wanted $250. An hour per each FOB. Went to locksmith $40 for as many FOBs as I bring in on same trip.

There is no need to Horn Honk Lock your car. One click of your fob Light Flash ONLY Confirms your vehicle is locked and armed. People click the fob twice out of habit but it is not needed to assure your vehicle is locked and armed. It only creates noise that wakes people from sleep.
