How to make your character talk to himself | Roblox Tutorial
Ойындар
In today's video, I explain how to make a character talk to himself with the use of a remote event. If you want to support my game, join my Roblox group, follow my Instagram, and most importantly, make sure you subscribe! All the support means a bunch to me and, it drives me to finish. Thank you!

ey bro I noticed u had an issue in ur first live devlog (the first episode) In 1:52:10 in that video. You didnt have to put player in FireServer event as it does automatically. I mean when u fire server and checking it with onServerEvent event, It will automatically make you get player. What I mean is: In local script HouseButton.MouseButton1Click:Connect(function() remoteEvent:FireServer(Value) --You dont need to put extra player parameter here just put the Level's value (in this case its = House) end) And in Script (ServerScript) remoteEvent.onServerEvent:Connect(function(player, level) print(level .. "Has been selected by ".. player.Name ) --[[in onServerEvent event it automatically gives you player parameter. So you didnt have to put extra player parameter in LocalScript on FireServer]] end) What you did was giving player parameter 2 times. 1 from the original method that it automatically does And one that you've sent by saying game.Players.LocalPlayer It makes you get the player parameter 2 times. In summary you didnt have to put player parameter in your FireServer() method As it does automatically, in onServerEvent you could get player parameter even if we didnt put player parameter in FireServer. Roblox knows where the FireServer method comes from. Meaning who has it been called for
