watching the floors/roofs get filled in at 1.25 speed was very satisfying lol. The realization of the strategy you were using @ 28 mins was great. Nice use of clipping for the stairs into that area down by the water. I assume the game is on passive? Every time I tried to build anything we get attacked super often.

I can't believe some of the houses you end up building but somehow you get it done. I struggle so badly with figuring out how the framwork should be that all my houses end up being square or rectangle with flat roofs because I still can't figure out how gables work. When you were doing the free building down on the water, I was completely lost wondering what the hell was going on. But seeing the finished design, the free building helped to give it a multi-layered look which is just fantastic with all the planters and the waterfall. I'm really interested to see what you'll make of the new stone building, even if it is very limited right now.

..just observe what's not working and remember it..then find another way.. for now this game is very buggy thats why the building system of this game is very confusing sometimes it worked sometimes not😅

Us the creative mode and passive mode, experiment in peace and play around with the building mechanics, eventually you'll get the hang of it.

It took me a solid 45 minutes of frustration to figure out you can only place logs on these diagonal logs if there’s a split log between em as a roof or staircase.

I mixed your buildings used your recent moose house for this location with the garden it looks nice thanks ❤

Very nice landscape architecture 🙂 though I would’ve made one of the stone fireplaces and definitely a second floor or at least access to the roof with small deck. You skipped defense entirely and went for looks but on this island you’re asking for trouble!

whats your pc build?

sons of the forest's building system is seriously satisfying but i feel like there should be more freedom with the building. Currently (2023 September) you are restricted to placing a square foundation. I hope that maybe some day we'll get to choose the individual size and shape of the foundation, sorta like in the forest. Same with walls and stuff, maybe that you could turn on a grid or just turn it off, and cut the logs to a specific length even? But i am no developer so i dont even know what sort of coding HELL you'd need to go through to make that work (also, absolutely amazing build btw, props to you for being so creative!)

my team and I created a 16-story structure with zip lines connecting the entire island.

@@BuckyWrenno Thanks! yes! I know how to rotate it, but I haven't yet changed my book key, which is "Q." When I hold a log and try to rotate it counter-clockwise, it always throws the log because it will switch to a book lol
