I like how you cut carpet to size and glued it , it one of those simple ideas that make you say to yourself, why didn’t I think of that, one thing I haven’t seen anyone do is to make rope handles to lift and carry the floor much easier

Thank you for the video! I’ve watched many and really like how you did it. I’m curious if you used self adhesive pipe insulators and if not how you adhered them? I see people using zip ties but not sure if that’s the best way to go, but wasn’t sure if self adhesive would stick to carpet.

Thanks for taking the time, great video. By the way, that is not plywood, it's OSB, which is heavier, not as strong as plywood. It's not much cheaper where I am.

Great video. Thanks. A quick question. Don't the insulators add to the width of the template?

Thanks Barry! The fact that the insulators are foam and the boat is inflatable compensates for that.. it worked just fine for me!

Семён Ануфриев the carpet that i used is not waterproof but the primer should be enough to prevent water from ruining the wood, so any indoor/outdoor carpet of your choosing should be good

Matthew Winne I’ve had 5 adults walking, standing and sitting on this floor with no problems at all so far.. and the carpet sticks perfectly, just make sure you give it enough time to dry after the primer.. enjoy yours!
