Out of all the wood earring videos I seen, yours is the best. You are thorough on technique, tools, paints, etc. I stopped making mine double-sided because of the time involved. I stain the backs to have the natural woodgrain show. Also, the bale clasps are easier to install instead of the jump rings. I'm always finding ways to save time! Thank you for the video!

I love that you shared a lot about your experimentations, places you buy products, things you’ve learned along the way, etc. It gives the audience tips so we have that knowledge base going into making wood earrings. That's was awesome!!!! 👏👏 Thank you so so much! I am so excited to combine all my junk journal paper to my jewelry making ❤️. Small tip if you don't want to use two jump rings and can save your jump rings and make them go longer, simply take the bottom of your earring wire use your needle nose pliers and gently twist the the ring at the bottom of the earring. It'll turn it the direction you need it to go so you can use the jump ring in the direction it is sitting in the earring. And you won't have to add an extra jump ring to make it fit the earring. You could add one earring change the direction of the earring circle on the bottom and they'll both fit together without having to add the extra jump ring. Just a little tip and then your jump rings will last longer.

These are BEAUTIFUL! I have been making earrings for some time now; to include paper earrings. I use the 140lb drawing paper that's for painting or drawing . It requires the same process as far as the paper designs which I print from the computer (background pictures or solid colors) Elmer's glue ALL (Stronger school glue) seal with mod podge and paint the edges after sanding. It is tedious but they are beautiful. 😊

Thanks for sharing and i have also tried this method and other ways of making earrings and its a great learning experience just like you said alot of trial and error but its all about having fun while doing it and learning and experimenting with different things etc...i love the size earrings you are designing...they all came out really nice....
