How to Make Wine from Fruit Juice - The Only Wine Recipe You Will Ever Need - Part I

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

This is how you make wine from fruit juice. It is the only recipe you will ever need to make any fruit juice wines. This video concentrates on the making of wine directly from fruit juice or juice concentrate. It is relatively simple once you know the equipment you need and the necessary ingredients and the process of turning fruit juice into wine.
It is a great hobby and if you like wine, you can not beat homemade wine that you have made. You can share with your friends or just keep it all to yourself. Once you get the equipment and ingredients you can make wine from .50 cents per bottle to 3.00 dollars per bottle which is cheap.

So if you are just starting out in the hobby, give it a try it really is not that hard to do yourself. You don't need a lot of fancy equipment, even though it makes it easier sometimes. I've seen people make wine out of soda bottles, milk jugs and everything in between.

    Great vid! Doesn't get simpler than this and the results are normally great...depending on the grape variety of course! At the very least you do get decent wine. I do this exact thing whenever I'm making anything with apple too...apple cider, wine or mead, because I have no patience to make my own apple juice, lol! Also like to use a mix of grape, apple and red berries juice I'm familiar with and know it's alright - 100% fruit, no sulfates, sorbate..the only preservative is vitamin C. This video has inspired me to first of all make cherry wine and then some grape wine, because ever since we had the cherry season a couple of months ago, I've been brewing cherry mead or viking blood

    Bentonite works perfect for the last racking to remove all your fine particles. No need to degass wine just not a necessary step. Most commercial wine makers do not degass... but when I stir my bentonite for 3 days that will handle any gas issues. Great questions. 👍

    Hi. Love your videos on using fresh fruit. Now Im trying the juice from the store. I enjoy watching you and your wife have fun together. Its rewarding to see couples enjoying what they do. My question is this after adding the yeast to the juice, and stirring for 7-10 days. Your abv should read 1.00. But what do you do if it doesn’t? What should you do? Wait and check again?

  • @HowToDoneRight

    @HowToDoneRight

    6 ай бұрын

    If it's still bubbling let it go... it can take 14 days or longer but do not rush it. If only bubbling every minute it will be done and ready to rack... use an abv calculator to see where alcohol is. If not at 1.00 sg. Good luck.

    @@HowToDoneRight I’m sure it’s incredible! My only concern with adding kiwi is it would take a LOT of kiwi to make a 6 gallon batch. I may do 2 things- 1. Scale down for a 1-3 gallon batch of kiwi/watermelon wine and 2. Make a normal 6 gallon batch of straight watermelon and turn it into brandy. The blackberry i did that with us the finest thing I’ve ever tasted! 💥

    Also plastic food wrap held down with rubber bands is a good air lock substitute. Losely banded during rapid fermentation. When fermentation ends the rubber bands should have a tight grip. I have done this for many years. The wine does not oxidize.

    Great question. You can bottle right away. No Need to age before bottling. But remember even if looks clear it most likely has fine particles in it you can't see until settles in your bottles. A few weeks later. Can't rush wine making.... also i find fruit wine Is best in the first 3 to 6 months. Just my opinion. 👍👍

Racked over for secondary ( but put in camdon tablets in my sterile carboy and topped up my carboy with the extra grape juice i had. No realizing my camdon mistake i put some yeast in each carboy.
