How to make Whipped Body Butter | Step by Step | Recipe & Formula Included |

Hey everyone! Thank you for tuning back in with me.
In this week’s video, I will be showing you guys step by step how to make whipped body butter.
What I used in video:
- Shea Butter (you can use any kind of butter)
- Avocado oil (you can use any carrier oil)
- Vitamin E Oil
- Fragrance Oil
- Pigment
- Hand mixer
- Scale
- Glass Bowl
Formula:
Take how many butters you’d like to make & multiply that by the oz of your containers. That will help determine how much product is needed for the batch.
Example: 6 body butters x 4oz containers = 24oz needed for products
I use 60% butter and 40% oil! You can use whatever works best for you and your customers! There will be times you may come up a little short and times where you’ll go a little over! Both is okay. Just keep track so you’ll know what to do differently next time. It’s all about trial and error.

Thank you so much, I am new at making body butter I watched several videos and then went for it. After pipping into the containers, it was hard in the morning can I fix it?

You’re so welcome! When it’s hard, I just start over. Take them out the container, melt it again, set it in the freezer for an hour, let it sit down for an hour, then whip it. It usually turns out better. Hope this helps 🤎

Hi! Welcome to the family 🫶🏽 about 2 grams & you should add it at the end of the process in the cool down stage! You’re so welcome and I hope this helped.

What’s the difference between carrier oils (ie almond, avocado etc) that you would buy from a company and the oils sold like in Walmart?

They’re all the same love. I usually get my carrier oils from Walmart if I don’t feel like waiting on oils that come from Amazon 🤍

Hi ,does this leave a lot of oil left over on the skin or does it absorb?

Hiiii! It absorbs on my skin because I have dry skin. It just depends on what’s your skin type 🤎 you can add more or less oil depending. Hope this helps!

60% butter & 40% oil How do you determine that it would be 14oz butter & 10oz oil?

Yes, depending on how many butters you’re trying to make. I have the formula in the description ❤️

If I’m being honest with you, no and yes! Based off experience, some batches are better than others. This batch specifically did not get hard, it was actually fluffy and melted into the skin immediately. The thing that I’ve noticed is how long I let it sit after I take it out the freezer, that actually helps. I usually let it sit out for a few hours before I whip it and that allows it to be nice and smooth
