Just fast forward to 3 minutes and 30 seconds as the rest of it is completely superfluous. I wish you could put these comments ahead of viewing the video as people should know that this is single device-specific and cannot be used on a floor to see if something in the room is overflowing. Float operated switches like this or already available quite cheaply so I don't really see the point. This is a great project for people learning electronics if you want your project to have some kind of purpose and show input and show output and be testable and be appliable to some real world use this becomes a fabulous project.
