WAP-7 is one of the most popular trains in India. I made the model with materials at home. I customized the scale using 1: 37,7.
This locomotive is wide-bodied, you can see in the video when pulling a series of Indonesian coaches. the coaches looks very small :D. basically trains in India are bigger than Indonesian trains.

materials used:
- used cardboard
- dc motor gearbox
- PWM controller
- plastic cups
- 18650 type batteries
- PVAC Glue
- Super Glue
- Hot Glue
- bamboo sticks
- ice cream sticks
- rope insoles
- bottle caps
The measurements:
- L x W : 80mm x 480mm
- bogie : 🔘49mm 🔘 49mm 🔘 (W:63mm)
- wheel dia: 26mm. Flange : 35mm
- track gauge: 45mm (watch another video on my channel)

Theek se yaad nahi kintu.. Jab mai koi 10,11 saal ka raha hunga yeh baat 1984-85 ki rahi hogi.. Maine cardboard se diesel engine banaya tha. Jo chalta tha.. Ek fighter aircraft bhi banaya tha. Jo udta tha. Beautiful

wow, this must have realistic wear&tear factor, I see rails are out of cardboard as well, so everything wheels, rails, body rigidity might wear out over time :)

1:20 . I want to give an idea . To make wheel flange . You can also stick a electric wire in the order of wheel's circumfrence .😊. By this , Model Train runs very smoothly .😊

I think it's through laser cutting machine, even the popsicle stick made for chassis has black burn outlines.

Well done. Simple and effective. Where can I buy the dual shaft micro motors? I too have made a loco model in O scale. The body has been designed by me in AutoCad 3D and output is through 3D printing. It is a working model. I like the motors used in your model.

in this model, the motor is single shaft. This is a motor gearbox from a small rc toy car (cheap). You can see it if you have one. For the dual shaft motor in the other model I used the motor from tamiya mini 4wd (mach dash pro).
